Jeff Carter (Update on post #97)
Jeff Carter (broken foot) will have an MRI on Wednesday "and if he's pain-free" and the test "shows there's callus around the break, he'll be able to skate. And at that point, if he can play right away, I'm sure Jeff will play if he can," Holmgren said. "He's a tough kid and I know he's chomping at the bit" to return.
Carter could be ready to go for the Rangers series.

This has off season foot surgery written all over it. This team will never learn when it comes to injuries.

Who gives a ****, he may play in 2 playoff home games or even get serious injury before that against NY Rangers. Stitches came off and his foot is infected now type of deal.
Playoff tickets sales. I’ve seen it before once or twice

interesting tidbit on Emery too

Emery had successful hip surgery Thursday, Holmgren said, adding it won't be known for six months if the goalie can return to action next season

Neither am I, in case you didn't notice.
I would expect all Flyers fans to be checking the news time to time to keep updated on key players and the organisation.

I feel so bad for him. I hope all goes well and he can return. We can't wait for him though.

Wow.... six months is a very, VERY, long time. Homer, for the love of God, go get a goalie for next year. We're begging you.
