That's all I need. You're the only person who thinks Carle is the better player on the Pronger-Carle pairing. In fact, I've never figured out why you've hated Pronger so much this season. That's as ridiculous as hating Laviolette (oh wait...).

He consistently loses his man, turns the puck over, and is slow getting back to pucks (I think it's because he's afraid to get hurt). Pronger is always doing things to bail him out, but it's very rare that it's the other way around.

Larry you need to learn to read. I never blamed Carle for the goals, I said he was awful on them (Pronger was just as bad on them, as was Boucher) I never said Carle caused them, or that Pronger didnt cause them.

But sure Pronger is a pylon, and Carle is god. Makes sense to me

Quote:
The second Detroit goal is obviously Carle's fault. If he was faster, old, slow Dan Cleary wouldn't have blown around Pronger like a pylon then beat Pronger to the puck to make a great pass to the uncovered, untaken point man Rafalski, who made a great shot that took a fluky rebound over the heads of the guys in front, including Carle, who was RIGHT in front of the net where he was supposed to be. When the puck took a funny hop off Boucher, Carle's psychic powers failed to detect where it was going to land, and his telekinetic powers failed to prevent the puck from landing right on a Wing player's stick for the goal. Man, if Carle could've only known Pronger was going to suck so bad on that play he might've been able to do something about it....
Did you even watch that play? The only reason Pronger was out of position and behind Cleary(who was on Carle's side of the ice BTW) was because Carle was just standing at centre ice doing NOTHING and Pronger had to come over from his side to cover for Carle

It wouldn't be a win if we didn't have some outlying people coming in and finding things to complain about.

I got bombarded with facebook messages from my friends in Michigan lambasting the Flyers as being the dirtiest team in the league. Go Carcillo

yeah at least you can recognize that Carle had a bad game yesterday, and that Pronger does help Carle's game, and admit that he's overpayed. You back yourself up with logical arguments and stats and not just sly remarks

Haha, I am slightly biased when it comes to him for sure, but yeah, he has certain weaknesses that are never going to get better unfortunately.

Pronger has been carrying that pairing, especially in recent weeks.
