I don't know but the article says he was first in points for the defensemen on his team for each of the last three years. He also had 173 penalty minutes over his four years there (an average of about 43 per year) which equals about a minute & a half per game.

So, make what you can with these stats.

The Canadiens have signed a two year contract with the free agent defenseman, Brendon Nash.

Nash, 23 years old is 6' 3" & 206 lbs. He is finishing his studies at Cornell after having played with the the 'Big Red' of the ECAC.

He's from Kamloops BC.

In his last year with Cornell, he got 19 points in 33 games (2 goals & 31 assists) and 48 minutes in penalties. He was, essentially, the best defenseman with the 'Big Red'.

He played for 2 years with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks in the BCHL. In 112 games, he had 9 goals & 51 assists.

Nash took part int the Canadiens development camp in July 2009.

Here's a link to the info for those of you who can read & understand French.

Man, every time I hear the name Nash, I think about the butler from the movie Richie Rich saying the line "THIS IS NAAASHHHH".
When I go to type his name, my brain immediately wants to type 'Graham' as in Graham Nash...

Kind of gives a hint at my age...
