Boogaard needs to go, I'd rather have Earl than him or someone else who actually plays hockey and score a goal in 200-something games.

Latendresse out for the rest of the game with an "Upper Body Injury"

Not cool. I've definitely been rooting for him since he went to Minny. Great to see a player find a place that works for him.

Hopefully just precautionary, no point in pushing him

Yep, I didn't think anyone is watching this. 4-1 right now and I can't even watch. Twins are way more interesting, but just as frustrating.

He had ~11 minutes tonight. I think that's why he's getting so much ice time. Although losing two guys kind of forces your hand there.

Wild have lost their best goal scorer, is it good or bad at this moment? I guess it's good...

I feel a twenty-eight goal game out of Sheppard.

In all seriousness, when the Wild end a game without two of their top-four defensemen (with another two blue-liners playing through injuries), two of their top wingers and a top grinder in Owen Nolan things are going to get ugly [EDIT: I also forget about Chuck]. Seriously, there was a point in the game where Wellman, Sheppard and Almond were out on the power play and if that doesn't scare you I don't know what will.

Who wasn't? I would seriously really hate to see the ratings for the Wild game last night.

Between the futility of the National Tourney, Twins, and Wild....they were lucky I had a PSI the next morning or it would of been long island time.

Minn - Wild: 1.57 - Twins: 6.25 Ratings

Minnesota Wild Fox Sports North (22) 2.22 total, which is -12.90% from last year

1.57 compared to a 6.25 for baseball? Down nearly 13% for the year? Move them to Yellowknife or something where the fans really appreciate hockey!

In other news, Phoenix has a .5 rating this year total which is 100% more than last year

I kept flipping to it, but glad I didn't see the massacre. The Twins game was far more interesting. Lol
