Salmela?

How has he looked? He has very few points IMO, but is he still getting better in his own zone?

Hasn't really gotten much of a chance here now that all of our defenseman are healthy again, was definitely a little better this go around here defensively.

Salmela was fine when he was in the lineup, a few defensive gaffes, but nothing major. But now that everybody is healthy, he is a healthy scratch. Even when we rest one of our defencemen, he doesn't play, because Fraser is ahead of him on the depth chart.

I dont really think that's true just based on one game. I view it more on a situational basis where if Lemaire is worried more about defense he'll probably insert Fraser, and if he's looking for a bit more offense from the back end he'll probably insert Salmela. I wouldnt be the least bit shocked if Salmela gets into one of these last 4 games.

I thought he was still weak in his end, then again he's only played in 9 games since he's come back here.
