Has anyone ever broke a puck?

I haven't seen it yet but I have only played for about 5 years now and never played outdoors. If I ever broke one, I'd make sure to save it though.

What you should do is dip some pucks in liquid nitrogen so when people take shots they snap in half. It'd be a great April Fools joke if you have some spare liquid nitrogen lying around today!!!

We have some decent rinks in the US too up North. Minnesota gets as cold as Canada as does Maine where I am.

Both pucks I broke were on outdoor rinks and it was about 7 degrees Fahrenheit or colder.

I think one of the funniest things I read in here was a Canadian guy wondering if someone down south in the USA knows how to use a shovel from assuming the US doesn't get any snow ever.

.... like we don't have dirt down south or something.

never personally broke one, but i've seen it happen a few times.
what i did do once was lodge a puck in the netting of the goal....i got all of a one-timer in the slot. and the puck got stuck in the net. it took the refs like 15 minutes to get the puck out of the netting.
