I liked how at the end of the game the other day (I forget which one) Arnott was standing in the doorway of the locker room encouraging the guys as they left the ice.

We want our captain back!

He's a great captain, we're lucky to have a leader like that.

Good!!!
Arnott was playing at a different level after the Oly break. I'll be glad to see him back.

I thougth I heard recently that Grebeshkov is not expected to be back before the playoffs. Sooo, sometime during we might see him.

Anyone else here wondering if Trotz will even play Grebs? If he's not already practicing full contact, I almost see Trotz sitting him at least a couple games, if not the entire first round. Thoughts?

I think as soon as he's physically able he'll play... and if he isnt up to snuff he'll be scratched and franson will go back in

I don't think Franson has been playing well enough that it should be considered. He still has his fair share of struggles, and Grebs' mobility advantage alone would make me feel better about having him in instead.

I've heard the D corps isn't going to change even for the playoffs as long as they are playing well. I fully expect Franson to have a bad game however and see Grebs take his spot for at least one game though. Also, heard Grebs back to Russia in the offseason has a high likelihood of happening.

And no I can't guarantee that this info is accurate.

I agree. I think Trotz will work him in slow for the first game maybe only 17 minutes....

Arnott to return to the lineup tonight between Wilson and Erat...also Grebeshkov skating again on his own and could rejoin team practices Saturday during the morning skate. Still ruled out for the rest of the regular season and likely the first two playoff games as well, but...he could rejoin the lineup as early as Game 3...

Poor Grebeshkov. What a way to welcome him to Nashville.

I hope he's back to play in the playoffs.

LOL, Trigg. Nicklas Lidstrom should give him a call and tell him quit being a sissy. Since he had the same injury in the Cup Finals last year.

i don't. I hope he sits in the box as long as he can. the preds, to me, have a specific quality, aura, typical player to me. Hard-working, bluecollar defense first and grebeshkov, while h ehad a nice a goal and assist in his couple of games, jumped too much for my liking, got rubbed off the walls, and didn't do the little things I expect our guys to do.

I know many will liken this to the trade for vishnevski, as far as getting a guy and not using him, but I don't see him as a guy in our style.

Sounds like a Zidtard clone to me more than Vishnevski.

I totally forgot we traded for Vishnevski. what a cluster that was... only time I think I can remember that there was a visible rift between Poile and Trotz.

but i agree with you... I think franson is underrated... we missed him before the Olys, i think... grebs would probably have been fine if he had been playing this whole time and had 20 games with us under his belt but I really dont want to worry about he and Klein, cube or hammer not being on the same page during the playoffs...

Grebs is a VERY bad player. I've been watching the guy for quite a while, being an Oilers fan and all. His GAON/60 is 3.33. One of the highest in the NHL. Absolutely brutal.
