Flyers have 8th best defense in NHL

The Philadelphia Flyers are a little surprising as a top ten unit, particularly considering the drop-off from the top to the bottom of the depth chart, but the Flyers' top four is good enough to make up for suspect role players.
The breakdown is in the article on some numbers, but those do not seem particularly advanced. Figured some of ya'll would be interested.
Regards,
Rick

Saw this a week ago in the general forum. Not a very good way to judge defense IMO.

Caps number 1? I disagree with that.

Uh, yeah. Obviously a flawed metric if that's the case.

Yeah, this was up about a week ago. It's just another sick joke ranking.
At first I thought it was an April Fools joke.

How can they possibly even have a top 10 D (the caps), I dont think there is a knowledgeable caps fan out there that says they are number 1...

I saw this on TSN a little while ago, and thought about posting it here. Not because of the Flyers being 8th, but the Caps having the best defense. Are you kidding me? What a terrible rating system.
