Giroux

Do you see Giroux as a winger or a center on this team in 3 years.

i see him as a winger because i dont see how you can have him only get third line minutes. But i could see him as a center if he gets better and we try to go the pittsburgh route and go with three great centers with bum wingers for them.

I hope center. He has great vision and can dish the puck extremely well.

If he isn't horribly defensive at center, then I say move Carter to his wing and have Giroux pass to him.

I see him as a winger really. While I like his playmaking from the middle, Richards and Carter just make better centers than him. and I dont want him with scrubs on the third line

He should be at wing. He is slightly better offensively at center, but with Richards and Carter, he should be at wing. He is a better fit there for the construction of our team and with defense taken into account, in general.

I chose winger. I do think the "he is too small to play center for the Flyers" is really overblown, but on this team, it would benefit him ALOT more if he played with Richards or Carter.

Giroux is a top-2 line player, and as long as we have both Richards and Carter, the only option will be wing.

i think hes at wing due to a lack of depth at the position and also due to briere. in 3 years i expect them to address both those issue where giroux will excel in the center position

Winger. He's stuck behind Richards and Carter, and is not good defensively at center. While he is able to have more room on the ice, he will have to learn to get used to RW, because that's where he'll be in 3-4 years.

He's probably not a center on any team. He's definitely not a center on this team.

Center

Mike Richards will be dealt with in three years and Claude will take the scoring line center spot with new aquisitions Pavel Datsyuk and Ryan Kessler...because Homer knows Hockey

On the wing with Richards. If he takes one more shot per game that will be a wicked combo for a long time.

He's had some good games at center, but I still see him as a winger.

I see him as a center, but on a different team. Just a gut feeling, but I would prefer he stayed and played wing.

i would say giroux is most likely to retire a flyer amongst all of our current flyers (even cote)

ed snider values him above all else

It's tough to figure out what they're going to do with Giroux. I honestly don't think the organization even knows what to do with Giroux. I say move him to the wing, but let him take draws every now and again so that he maintains that versatility.

I really like that idea. Keep him as a winger, but have him take some draws. That way, if Carter or Richards goes down with an injury, you have someone who can fill in well.

I like him on RW. He just needs to shot more. At least 200 shots a season or over.

If they keep him at the wing, then yes, he needs to shoot more. However, the organization has to be blamed for not having a defined development path for Giroux. It's time for Laviolette and company to quit screwing around and decide if he's going to be a winger or a center. This also stems back from Cake Baker's time as head coach and Holmgren has also done nothing to quash the Giroux at center experiment.
