He can be LITR'd for only one year, I believe. It happened to the Devils with Mogilny or Malakhov. They had to petition for one to be removed(that was Mogilny) and gave the Sharks a 1st to take Malakhov.

No big deal. Pronger slows the game down such much just by his presence the only thing you have to worry about is injury, not ability.

If he is injured he can be LTIR'd forever

Malakov wasn't injured, Mogilny was

Looks like Pronger has some major Ranger ass kicking to do to shut this moron up.

As the Rangers signed Redden, then 31, they were unaware that he already sucked and will get worser every second.

This idiot should worry about "his own" team.

The issue with Mogilny was that he was essentially retiring... due to a chronic hip problem. Still ridiculous that they allowed them off the hook for that season given that the injury existed prior to the signing of the contract. If Pronger suffers a legitimate injury, they can LTIR him.

Pronger is +21. After his defensive liability/partner Carle the next best on the team is Blair Betts at +8. 16 players (well over half the team) are in the red. Say what you want about +/-, if Prongers the problem we need more problems like that. I won't pretend to know whats going on in that locker room but it's not out of the question that this team needs the verbal ass kicking he may be giving them and they're too immature to listen and learn from someone who's been there and knows what he's talking about. And is the best player on this team.

He's had a few instances where he looked like a pylon but he's been fantastic on the ice and definitely is the best player on the team. Off the ice, who knows.

Tortorella is awesome. I'd love for him to be our coach one day. He's someone who you'd think the act gets old, but that's not even why he was fired in Tampa
