I'm almost hoping this happens (with a flyers victory of course), but only b.c the outcry from the NY Media would be so amazing that maybe they'd do away with it completely

How about we win because the game is on RDS and we have more Quebec players!

I have a gawd-awful feeling. We lose the 1st game in OT/SO ... the last game we will be tied with a minutes to go ... Rangers pull their goalie and win it. Maybe it's the 2 previous times that the Flyers have lost a playoff position in the last game of the season.

That would be even worse than losing in the scenario I mentioned.

Also, Boston's final game of the three they have remaining is Sunday at 12, so when ours starts at 3 we'll all know whether Boston is definitely in or if their fate depends on our game at all. We may know sooner if they do well in the next two.

edit: I was just looking at the standings and discussing all this business on the main board, and here's yet another crazy possibility I hadn't even considered. The Flyers, Rangers, and Bruins could all still make it with the Habs missing. This would satisfy, and it's not all that huge of a stretch...

- Boston gets at least 3 pts over the course of their remaining 3 games

- NYR wins both games against Philly...one or both could go to OT/SO

- Philly gets 1 or 2 points over course of 2 games vs NYR

- Montreal loses both of remaining 2 games in regulation

Unlikely, sure...but it could happen.

Good luck, should be an intense two games.

Also, can any of you guys tell me where the opposing team enters the building? I'm going out to the game Sunday, would love to get some autos.

pleeeeeease win in regulation tomorrow. I have had zero productivity at work this week and the Habs are f'in pathetic so we need your help on this one (I could wish for a rangers reg sweep, but I'd rather the flyers made it than the rags). I dunno what the mood/preparation/Carter status is, but I'm hoping you guys want to beat them badly tomorrow and not take a chance on going to OT.

Tell your buddies on the Habs board to stop making Halak/Price for JVR/Carter/Giroux proposals, and I'm sure we can work out a deal.

And don't worry about us wanting to beat them badly. The Rangers need to be made an example of. Now we just need the team to wake up and get it done.

Something else I hadn't thought about is how heavily Ducks fans are rooting for us to lose these games. It could mean them securing the 11th pick or so I believe.

And of course it just makes the thought of blowing these games that much more nightmarish. Making the Pronger trade, missing the play-offs, and giving up the 11th pick as a result of the Pronger trade.

Win please.

If we lose these games, I'm hopping on the bus to NYC and kicking as many babies, kittens, and puppies as I can before the authorities get me.

Why not bike? If you gave enough notice, I'm sure you gain support and raise some money for charity.

It's probably been discussed, but this game is available in the Boston area (and in the rest of the US) on Versus.

I'm hoping for you guys to lose in OT both games, personally. The Leafs should be able to take care of the Habs on Saturday (two bad losses should wake them up for the team they always play their hardest against), meaning both the Rags and Flyers can get in with that scenario.

Not a slight on ya guys, just more of me wanting the Habs to miss out.

There's a driveway they take on the side directly across from Lincoln Financial. Same driveway the Flyers take. However, there's security so you can't actually physically go down there to get autographs. Maybe they'll stop, but I've never seen the visiting bus stop before or after a game before.

That's what makes this **** so much worse. I actually wouldn't give a **** about missing if the organization ****ing did something this offseason, but giving the Ducks that pick is a slap in the face.

Do you think - if I raised enough money - it would offset the legal repercussions of going on such a rampage?
