I never had a fast metabolism. It blows balls. Packed on like, 25 lbs over the winter from not running or anything.

Basically, last Feb I was 235 (I'm 6'1.5") and I got down to 195 thanks to more fiber, CLA, 1500-2000 calories a day, and lots of running. Stopped running around... September, and I now sit at around 225 or so. Time to work it all off again...

I'm just concerned about keeping my weight up more then anything. I already meet the running requirements for the military, I just have to pass the push-up and sit-up tests.

Also, it's not like I'm all fat or anything. I try to stay in shape and keep my weight up without weights and stuff. Considering my weight I'm actually fine with my arm strength. The perfect way to describe me is lanky.
Do you have access to a pullup bar? You can always do squats with something heavy across your shoulders. A buddy of mine used to tie a bunch of gallon jugs of water together and do squats with them.

It's ghetto, but if you don't have access to a gym, it works.

I used to run a lot and didn't get a whole lot of results. Felt great, but in Michigan, it's cold enough that for much of the year it's a pain to get outside. I just do grass drill style exercises before bed. 20 squats, 15 situps, 10 pushups, 1 minute rest, and then repeat for 30 minutes. If you have sleeping problems, try doing around 20 sets, take a hot shower, and hit the sack. I'm usually out like a light.

I hate both of you. I have the slowest metabolism ever; I have to kill myself in terms of both diet and time in the gym to lose any weight. 6'2", and 250 lbs (although I don't look like I weigh anywhere near that, I'm just pretty solid).

But best of luck to ya, Garbage. Hopefully you can pack on some muscle and get into Basic. If you wanna have some of my weight, I'll gladly pawn it off to you. In fact, let's add up our combined weight, and then just divide by two. Then we'll both be in great shape.

Thanks for the best wishes, I appreciate it.
Oh I do, but there are certain limits to lankiness, and standing next to a guy who is skinnier than I am is a no-no.

Guess I'm just jealous. I'm only 22 and I have to kill myself at the gym to stay in shape. I was the fat kid in elementary school; not looking forward to going back to round shape as I get older.
You might hate it now, but you definitely will miss it when it's gone. I too have to kill myself at the gym, and if I even skip going for a few days, 5 pounds right there. My weight fluctuates day to day, so it really is impossible for me to tell when I've actually lost weight and when I've gained it. I hate it.

Dear GKJ,

Thank you for posting the Phil Collins dance party. It was everything I could've wanted today.

Sincerely,

I believe the Flay comment was the more racist item in that post.

Also, regarding Phil Collins...the problem with him is, most of his music sucks. On top of that, I believe he maintains a home in New York. **** Phil Collins.

Just pasted a guy who was wearing a Rangers jersey and I was wearing my Flyers jersey. Gave him that "Prepare to ****ing lose" look. He gave me that "nice goalie" look. Boosh better step up and the team better play well.

Right with ya. I'm 5'11" and 134lbs, 2 days shy of my 20th birthday. I'm pretty much 2D. Though I am starting to pick up the pounds thanks to this new dietary supplement I've found. It makes you really hungry and kinda sleepy, and also music sounds really good.

Anyway, **** the Rangers.

Nothing makes me smile like hearing "Su-su-sudio" though.

I'll go out on a limb and say if he's maintaining a New York home it's only for infiltration. He's trying to give those Statue-of-Liberty thieving ******** the rest of his suck.
