What an amazing game... I hope Jere and Mo both sign on for one more year but if they are done then that was a perfect way to end it.

WOW. WOW. WOW. WOW. Un-f'ing-believable.

What a game. What a night.

One of the BEST moments that I will ever be apart of it. I was definitely ballin in my seat in the 3rd and after the game. So glad that I was able to be apart of something like tonight.

If anyone had any doubt about those 3 being gone, just watch tonight and you'll know it. It was an extremely special event and was a blast to be apart of. Perfect perfect ending.

I'm no Mo fangirl but even I appreciated that show tonight. I wonder if Jere feels cheated but I doubt it.

The goal was close but in that game, with a less than optimal camera angle I can't picture Toronto overturning that.

Hiller was robbed on the 3 stars but I'm sure he doesn't mind. He was fantastic along with the Dallas 3.

Mike Modano has always done it well on the ice and I hope the moment for him was as good as it was for us fans. Best of luck Mo in whatever you do. Hockey in non-traditional markets was made possible in part because of you.

Back from the game. Can't say much right now, but it was the best sports moment I have ever been a part of. It was a rollercoaster of emotions. The standing ovation and Modano's reaction was beautiful and agonizing. I wanted to have myself a sports cry as well, but I fought it back. I'm so glad I went to this game. Something I will never forget.

Turco and Lehtinen got mini-standing ovations throughout the night as well. Obviously it was nothing like Modano's and it shouldn't be IMO. He's the best player to ever play for this franchise at any position and will be for a long time most likely.

The three stars at the ending was absolutely perfectly done and even I have to admit how shocked I am at the response by a lot of the Stars fans. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect an event like tonight to happen. But was pleasantly surprised.

Hats off to the way the Stars organization ran the post game stuff. It was extremely well done.

I don't know what they showed on TV and what they didn't, but throughout the entire night all 3 were honored and clapped for in so many ways. Was just an awesome event to be apart of. The way the game finished off sure didn't hurt either.

Agreed. I was almost crying myself on several occasions. It was one amazing night and possibly the best moment I've ever been a part of.

I think Lehtinen had a little bit better ovations and moments when he was clapped for than Turco, but I could be wrong. Definitely nothing like Modano and his epic ovation later in the game.

I'm not certain Lehtinen will be gone, but I think he's more likely to return then Modano.

This is coming from a Ducks fan, but I have to take my hat off to Modano. One amazing career, and the fact that it was with one franchise makes it even more memorable. Seeing that we may be in the same situation here in a few games, the night was handled with great class and I was a bit saddened. It's going to seem weird without Modano in the league. Yet another player whom I remember from when I first got into hockey. I am sad to see him go.

Anyways, good game guys. See you next year!

Yup, praising Parros and how he would be a great Star (something like that) and then bought up Barch, of course the phrase 'leadership' was used.

Following Modano from 1990 to now, I will admit I was crying when he was standing there at the end of the game. I've been one of his biggest fans forever and he's the reason I became a North Stars/Stars fan.

I would have loved to have been there last night but seeing him brought to tears made me cry. He did so much for this franchise and he was always a class act in my eyes. One of the most well-respected NHLers and one of it's better players too.

From a current Preds fan, who got into hockey with Dallas back in 2000 as one of the biggest 9 year old Ed Belfour fans, Iv'e always had the utmost respect for Modano, easily one my favorite players, one of the greatest leaders I have ever seen.
So thank you fans for that tribute, I simply cannot say how awesome that really was.

that looked like it was a great game. Being from canada (and I dont have satellite) I was unable to watch the game. However from watching the couple minutes of highlights on sportsnet, it looked like a great tribute. Awesome job stars fans!
