Schenn to Toronto For?......

Toronto Fan here and would like to know for what you would give up Brayden for?

My plan was Kaberle+Damigo+Caputi (both very good winger Prospects...apperently you are weak in that area?) for Schenn+Williams or whatever salary dump you want to give. If you could manage to sign Kovie in the off season your PP would be so scary....

Kovie, Kabs, Doughty, Kopitar....you dont even need a 5th player

Like it? Hate it? Modify it? Id love to here some ideas from Kings fans as I beileve they WILL win a cup in the next 5 years.

Get the hell out of here with that. Only thing I would want from Toronto is Luke Schenn.

You guys wouldnt even think about it for Kaberle and prospects if we took on like 7-8 million in salary dumps? I think your overvaluing a prospect a little bit lol.

I just don't see us as good trade partners. Kaberle is still an amazing talent but not an area of need for us as strange as that sounds. B Schenn is our top prospect at this point (at least forward prospect) so it would take more than he is worth to get him away from us.

If you still had your pick then it would have to be considered possible but without it......

Uh no. We want to keep Schenn. No reason to trade him just so you can put him with his brother. Get over it, you aren't getting him unless its overpayment.

First of all starting next year we are going to see dean Lombardi being a lot more active in "managing" the team instead of allowing prospects to just age into developed players. He has done very little in player movement for such a long time but now with a number of players in the prime of their careers the time for this team to be successful is now for next two to three years.
I am not a fan of your proposed deal as is but I am certainly open to trading Brayden Schenn given the deal helps us out immediately.
I am looking forward to seeing where Schenn fits or not fits in the team or in the AHL. I am not as excited as a lot of fans as I was far from impressed in the WJHC. I also have seen him play numerous Junior League games also as I have the full sports package on television.
I hope I am wrong and I am underestimating him. Either way, we shall see if it was a smart pick by Lombardi.

The Kings don't need to trade anyone. They are on the edge from being a really good team to a Cup Contender.

DL is going to go out, get Kovalachuk/Marleau, and maybe a defenseman, and finish it that way. There is no reason to trade Schenn for anyone.

Lombardi is clearly on the Kings board. And you're clearly Burke. Your plan, gtfo

Well thats exactly what i think is a good idea for the leafs at this point...overpay to get a player we want. And not really i followed Brayden on the wheat kings and love his game...but i also think he will have difficulty adjusting to the nhl game at first...hahaha i would trade luke to get brayden but i think that might be part of the awkardest trade in history lol

You don't think we need defencemen? Skilled defencemen? ever think why Stoll is on the pt for PP. Why Randy Jones is on this team.
I AM NOT saying do the deal but Kaberle on this team would be sickly good.

Right. The biggest dump of all is off the books after this season.

I like how your a little more contructive than the others lol....All im saying is we will take on basically any salary dump you have as im not really sure who still has positive value on your team? As i thought scuderi would be a dump but was proven wrong. Ryan smyth still positive? I have no idea....basically as long as its not Schenn, Kadri, Kessel Phaneuf, Bozak, Gustavsson...id be open to pretty much anything? I still think Doughty and Kabs could be a killer combo. Thoughts?

Toronto does not have the pieces needed anymore for the trade

unless it is Kessel going to the Kings

Williams isn't going anywhere. The Kings don't need to dump any salary. Cap management to date has been excellent.

Schenn has the potential to provide the Kings a very lucrative 1-2 punch at center at a bargain price for the first few seasons. He's not getting traded.

If your goal is to unite the Schenn Boys, it would be easier to send him our way. Toronto has nothing the Kings can use and Burke shot his wad (draft picks) on Kessel.

We dont have 7-8 million in Salary to dump.

Kaberle is of no use to us. We have 2 offensive d-men in Johnson and Doughty. No room for him.

We are no overvaluing our prospect. We dont have bad salarys. We have a young group. And at this point we have a fine salary cap were even going to condsider adding Kovalchuk for 10 million this summer to our already cap.

It's been said time and time again. Toronto is not getting Brayden Schenn, so stop asking.

A rookie user... figures... Sir, do you know how many Schenn proposals there have been on Hf Boards. Just like we have said on the other ones... NO!
