Didn't get to see all of the game....what happen to Ward I never heard anything about him during the broadcast but I knew I didn't see him in the third. Just got home and looked at TOI and he didn't play in the third or OT

What a boring game, the Preds were extremely flat and lazy, though I will give them credit for a few moments of excitement.

Oh well we hit 100 points

They were speculating that he re-injured his nagging "upper-body injury."

Trotz was really trying to throw Belak a bone in the early part of the game. I think he had more shifts and more icetime in the first period alone than he usually has in a game. And in that time, there was a disproportionate amount of scoring chances for the Blues.

Wade is a hilarious guy, and seems to be very nice\genuine, but I take a great deal of comfort knowing that he's likely skated his last shift in a Preds sweater.

Overall, not our strongest game, but I understand that motivation may not have been a great factor. Agree that Weber had a bad game, and I don't think Suter was much, if at all, better. Giveaways were at a premium in the defensive zone, and Pekka likely stole any points we ended up with.

The only really disappointing aspect of the game was the crowd. We can't sellout our home finale? 16,702...and we have the 200-300 Blues fans in attendance to thank for even getting that close.

We close the regular season with 4 sellouts on the year...while we averaged better than in years passed, I can't remember a time when we had a lower sellout total. I have to wonder how many of our "sellouts" in previous years were genuine, and how many were the result of comped tickets. It does make me worry that we'll have a repeat of our last playoff trip, where we didn't sell out any of our home playoff games.

I'm pretty sure we sold out those games... but I don't even trust my own memory

We didn't sell out any of the 3 games against DRW in 07-08?

Edit: Actually just did the legwork and we did sell out all three games in the 08 playoffs.

Couldn't watch the game unfortunately, just listened to the radio through the 1st period. From what I heard and seen in the highlights we didn't play too well. It seemed like STL was all over us in the last 5 minutes of regulation, Rinne stepped up big again. He's been spoiling his teammates a bit too much lately with his big-time saves, I just hope he won't choke next week cause of his inexperience or something. That would be a bummer.

The guys really need to step up and create more scoring chances. I mean, you really can't expect to score more than 1 goal when all your chances are semi-weakish shots that are easy to stop for the goalie. We were missing Horny though. They already showed that they CAN do it so I have faith.

We finish the regular with 100 points. Who would have thought before the start of the season we'd have 47 wins and 100 points? BEAUTIFUL

Gotta win a playoff series now, DO IT

I'm happy about the win but we played craptastic

Atleast Rinne played well, if we play like this in the playoffs it will be a short run, no matter who we draw.

Yes, we played a terrible game. Rinne stole this one for us. Thank goodness for him. I'm scared if this is a preview of things to come.

yeah, i think the first period had alot to do with trotz giving belak some pt for being a good teammate, not whining, etc. notice he wasn't out there all that much later in the game, when we rolled 10 forwards.

Rinne was great and the PK was OK, everything else Meh... when the game was 0-0 all i was thinking, we can't win a dam game if we don't score in the playoffs, then Arnott got the goal witch was nice, and then the god awful defensive play witch led to the goal and i was down again...

I'm really looking forward to the playoffs and i hope we somehow get our PP better, witch is REALLY bad right now...

But atleast we are going into the playoffs on a high Let's keep the big MO on ourside and get past the first round
