Is the advertising on MSG just the worst or what?

lol, we don't really get too many horrible local commercials up here. I'm surprised there would be so many down in the city.

Forgot about the Chase card commercials. Does anyone else foam at the mouth when she blows all the points for a vacation for both of them on a dress for herself? Yeeeeesh.

Awards:
That's the kind of advertising you get on show's with low ratings.

Not exactly on TV (Radio) but the Kars-For-Kids commercial annoys me to no belief; they play that on the Fan and 1050, everytime I hear it I cant stand it and I change the station. Brad Benson has the best commercials on the radio though, a few of them actually made me laugh.
I have a Tivo now so Im not forced to watch those horriable commericals but isnt the whole No School car commercial from about 10 years ago? I saw that on MSG+ not that long ago

Yep, we were discussing that a page or two back. I still maintain that the WORST part of that commercial is when the husband figures out that the wife wasted their points on the dress, he just smiles. How do you just smile when the vacation you wanted to take got wasted by your selfish wife on a dress?

Kars-For-Kids is pretty annoying. I'd love to turn it into a ringtone to annoy some peeps I know.

It's too bad we don't have commercials like this

The Patrick Roy "History will be made" NHL playoff add is by far in the worst taste. That **** on MSG during a Rangers game? Are you ****ing kidding me? Who do you think your target audience is?

Settle down Beavis. If you're getting this enraged over that commercial you either need a new hobby or professional help.

It's just cool to see our old buddy Tomas Sandstrom again. He was pretty much the best and only star player the Rangers had in his prime before Leetch and comp arrived.

I didn't get to enjoy him here too long due to being very young (he was traded right around my 9th BDay) but I'm glad he got to win a Cup with Detroit.

This would have been more "entertaining".

And let me add these as well:

1) MSG High School Basketball ad when Clyde Frazier bursts through the doors in a cloud of smoke and says, "Time to go to school, dogs."

2) Any of the luxury vehicle commercials (Lexus, Acura, etc) featuring a sultry looking older woman to hawk the product and appeal to the middle-aged man...and my roommate.

3) The car commerical with the twin Latinas on a split screen.

4) The aforementioned health plan commercial with frumpy girl with horrible shooting motion shooting hoops with Earl the Pearl.

5) Computer Mechanics on Call. "Oh my Gawd. We Lawst EVERYTHING."

6) Bobby Granger's Guide to the Rangers (though I secretly would love to have this one back)
