Yeah, Boston was able to generate more sustained pressure in the WI end for a good part of the 1st. The Badgers looked a bit more threatening towards the end.
Brendan's defense is looking pretty solid so far. (...for jaster...)
What I don't get is Wisconsin is having trouble generating offense, BC is allowing a lot of point shots, and yet Smith isn't getting a lot of ES time.
He plays #1 PK, #1 PP, but just hasn't gotten the shifts. I guess it's partially because his defense partner (Ramage) is the youngest on the team, so they want to shield him.
Stuart's had some decent seasons
10-26-36 as a 20 year old.
He had a 9-30-39 season.
And a 12-31-43 season.
I'd day that describes Smith pretty well, eh?
Do you remember the website where you got that? I remember reading that one day and I should've bookmarked it but I didn't. It also had a scouting report of Dan Cleary.

It's better than it was. Took himself dangerously out of position in his own end a couple times, leaving a man open, but got away with it. I don't think he was on the ice for any of BC's goals, so good for him. He's getting there. Something he needs to continue working on though.
Decent game. Thought it would have been more high-scoring. At least it was close through two periods. Would have liked to have seen Smith score, or at least show himself off more.
i attended all the games. the sight lines werent as bad as i thought they would be being in a football field and all, but i'm not really that picky when it comes to that stuff. boston college was clearly the better defensive team. they had a ton of blocked shots and kept Wisconsin to the outside for most of the game.
