Bingo.
It's why I'm hopeful. Vancouver has scored 33 more goals this season than the Kings, BUT... The Kings have
allowed fewer (219 to 222) and we're 100% healthy. Their D is banged up right now, and it's all about defense in the playoffs.
They also have a sub-.500 record on the road. They're the only playoff team where that is the case. If the Kings can manage to steal one game in Vancouver, they'll have a good chance.

Here's to a great series guys...whoever wins!
Looking forward to Wednesday!
(FYI - GM Place is already booked up for Saturday, so the rumor is the Canucks/Kings go Wed-Fri as opposed to Thurs-Sat.)

So the team actually made it and the Kings are in the playoffs facing the Vancouver!!
Just seems and feels weird saing that...
I feel we actually have a good chance to play beyond the first round.

Good luck boys!
1 thing i can gurantee is that Kopitar as well as the LA fans will hate Kesler and Burrows after this series

Phoenix is a better team then Vancouver. We should be happy about this.
Final Records:
Canucks 49-28-5 103pts
Coyotes 50-25-7 107pts
Plus...
Bryzgalov > Luongo
Also Vancouver hasn't been that good lately, they're very mediocre on the road, and they have some injuries on defense.

Cheers to the classy Canucks fans in this thread. Looking forward to hating you for the next few weeks!
Boo to the cocky Canucks fans in their playoff thread who have severely written the Kings off already. Hope their players underestimate the Kings as much as the fans do!

Its the one team I wanted to play the least out of anybody. But screw em. Go Kings Go.
Oh and uh.. I mean Ersberg just won. Quick goes in for game 1.. If he plays well, great. If he doesn't.. Gotta go with "our boy E."

Let's be positive! The Kings didn't lose in regulation in April. 3-0-3 (no shootouts in the playoffs!).
Too bad none of the wins were by Quick.

Lame question since this is the first time the Kings are in the playoffs since I've had Center Ice, but does coverage extend to playoffs?

Man this could go either way..so many question marks in this series.
Will Quick and Luongo continue their shaky play? If both goalies suck then it's going to be a crazy high scoring series.
Will the Sedins continue their hot play into the playoffs?
Playoffs are a whole new season...can they keep it up or will they fade?
Which Kings team will we see...the one that we saw before the break or the one we saw after?
How much of an impact will the veterans make?
How do the kings playoff rookies respond to the bigger stage?

Canucks fan coming in peace here. May the best team win! I think a Canucks-Kings matchup is best for both teams, travel-wise.
And I am definitely not underestimating your team, lest there be a repeat of 1993.

I don't think so (if I remember correctly). You'll have to rely on the national channels: Versus/NBC (or there's always internet streams as well).

hey guys! canucks fan here.
man oh man this is going to be one hell of a fun series to watch, both offensive teams, both have great young players, and best of all, should be good goal tending.
The best thing about LA is they are much more classy then the blues last year, and I expect nothing more then the same.
(Well minus that time you guys ***** us when we missed 50% of our roster lol)
Should be a complete war, Wish you guys luck, and hope for a great series
cheers!
PS - (SIDE NOTE) Brown vs kesler will be funny as hell to watch

ARE NHL PLAYOFF GAMES INCLUDED IN NHL®CENTER ICE®?
Yes, select games from the first two rounds of the Stanley Cup playoffs are included in your NHL CENTER ICE subscription.
The amount of games can vary depending upon the teams participating in the playoffs and the national television schedule.
