Well Lundy certainly deserved a better fate, however the rest of the team did not (well a select few)

The mediocrity continues. The season was a complete waste.

Philly deserved to win this game today, if we won it then the FBI should have investigated the NHL as to why we got the 8th slot while the flyers outplayed us the ENTIRE game.

Its not glen sathers fault, its purely the team and torts...

When it comes down to the shootout, you need your BIG GUNS out there like the flyers brought out...Brier and Richards. Where are our big guys?

Christenson/Jok/PA? They werent even on the team a few months ago...CMON. YOU need your big players...

YOU NEED gaborik in there...if he misses at least you say 'well we threw out your best at them'...

Its sad that the only guy who scored for us is a guy who should be playing in the AHL.

I'm a Habs fan and I was rooting hard for you guys to win....don't really want to face Washington. Anyway, I was completely baffled when I saw Jokinen chosen to shoot over Gaborik. Jokinen is a pure loser....always has been. Gaborik is one of the greatest talents in the world...I'm in shock!

The decision to put Jokkinen on the ice last over one of the best goal scorers in the game is maddening.

Right now we get the 11th pick. If Anaheim earns at least a point tonight, we'll get the 10th overall pick, barring a lottery win. Worst case scenario come true.

If Anaheim loses tonight, Rangers get the 11th pick.

The only thing that would make me happy is the press conference featured Jim Dolan coming on the podium and saying, I just fired everyone.

Great now we gotta see those ugly orange jersey's 4 more times before New Jersey/Buffalo dismantles their 3rd string goaltender.
**** off troll.

If not for Lundqvist, there wouldn't even be a shootout.

Gaborik is something like 1 for 18 in his career in shootouts. I wasn't happy with our season coming down to Jokinen either, but Gaborik wasn't the call there.

Take that, Dolan!

No two home playoff game$ for you, ********************.

This franchise needs a wakeup call.. too bad we have, what, the #10 overall pick?

Must be nice to have a top 5... but no, we'll draft another kid that won't be ready for 3 years.

God damn crummy late season charge that just cost us a better draft pick.

I'm sorry it had to end this way for all of you. I knew once it went to OT that it would be a heart-breaker and unfortunately this was not meant to be in your favor.

It hurts now but remember there is always more hockey to be played, always be proud of the positives you accomplished and bring this same enthusiasm with you into next season which will hopefully be a success.

I bet if you asked the Penguins coach if he ever considers leaving Crosby out of the shootout lineup he would LAUGH in your face.

When you score 40+ goals in a season, and are considered a 'sniper', you put him out there.

"The season comes down to Ollie Jokinen"

No joke...

If I knew it was going to come down Ollie Jokinen I would have skipped watching this game.

Why oh why did Torts go with Ollie and NOT Gaborik?...

bruins fans here i come in peace. I feel so sorry for you guys. What a terrible way to have your season end. on a god damn ***** shootout. Bettman you suck. that was just wrong.
but wtf was your coach doing not putting gaborik out there? you guys pay drury and gaborik a bleepload of money. why not let them earn it in the shootout?
game looked like the rangers wanted it until the third. then they sort of gave up.

Wow, Henrik Lundqvist deserves better. Played his heart out tonight. Had a fantastic season. Jokinen doesn't deliver. I want nothing to do with him next season. Team needs a complete overhaul. We should try and move one of our heavy contracts at the draft for a higher pick. What a ***** season.

Henrik Lundqvist
73GP 35-27-10 .921 SV% 2.38GAA

Hell of a season. Playing in front of this team and giving them a legitimate chance at the playoffs should give him some Vezina talk. It's a shame he isn't on another team. If he was, the guy would already have a Vezina and a legitimate shot at a Stanley Cup.

Typical garbage.

Think we can win games by scoring 1 goal.

Top 2 lines were no shows.

Puck repellant on the sticks.

Denied the playoffs cause of the shootout.

Or, if you want to look deeper: Our horrendous home record, as well as out OT/SO record.
