Can we sign him for the playoffs please?

No word on Stepan's injury. Listed as "upper body"

Who knew BC could play defense? They played some wild games against MASS,Maine and UNH this season. Blowing 2 goal leads in the third. Taking too many penalties. Last night, their forwards were skating backwards and had 3 guys back every time.

Maybe...
They have already twice, and went to the finals, lost in OT after ringing a shot off the crossbar.

Maybe a day will come when the colleges with such large student bodies stop getting all the top recruits... maybe.

I hope a ton of the BC players leave school this year for the pros. That way Kreider's ice time will be a helluva lot more than 11 minutes. Development wise it sucks that he hasn't gotten much ice time, but you can't fault York for putting together a solid team that won the NC.

Only natural that a lot of Boston area kids are going to Boston area schools to play hockey and year in and year out BC and Boston U are the two schools of choice. Anyway as it was remarked on over and over a lot of BC's best players are very small. It seems that Jerry York and his staff are inclined to go against the grain in that. Though one can argue that Wisconson was more talented--BC badly outplayed them last night.

Don't quite understand the BC dislike. Brian Leetch went there--arguably the greatest Ranger of all time.

Among the forwards, Ben Smith, Matt Lombardi and Matt Price are all seniors, so they won't be back.

Both Brian Gibbons and Joe Whitney are juniors, but they are both undrafted, so unless someone offers them a professional contract, they will be back.

Cam Atkinson was drafted in the 6th round in 2008 by Columbus. He led BC in scoring this year, but I'd imagine he'll play at least 1 more year at BC before turning pro.

Much as I love Kreider and his potential--do you think if we offered him and our 1st round No. 11 to Boston for the No. 2--say it's Seguin--that the Bruins would bite to get a local player with his potential?

My Tivo failed me, and the game didn't record. Anybody know how McDonagh looked?

No chance in hell and btw I love Krieder but that offer wouldn't even be considered.
