i myself realized today how spectacular lundqvist really is...it makes me wonder

"what if" we had the right players...how far would we actually go?

Finally everyone else saw what most of us Ranger fans have been talking about the last few years.

A philly guy who shows some love to a ranger? Respect

Lundy was awesome and was really the only ranger who came to the game last night. We didn't bring much else to the show. He is and will stay my favorite ranger currently playing in a blueshirt.

No doubt he is the man. His glove side is his weakness however, and is a work in progress. He's gotten better throughout the year though.

As for Torts, I'm alright with him for the most part. Some odd timeouts here or there, most of the blame falls on the lack of good players to coach. It's the GM which is the issue. Crap is still crap no matter how you coach it.

Amazing. Agree on the gloveside. But is it just me or was Hank a bit more agressive up the crease yesterday?

I have noticed a significant improvement in Hank's glove side since the Olympics. IMO, he is better now than ever.

We should make a trade with the Caps with the following terms:

We will loan Lundqvist to the caps for the 11-12 season.
They will load us AO and Backstrom for the 12-13 season.

That way both teams can win a cup.

I envy the Flyers scoring skill

Henrik on the Flyers would be pretty freaking great... for the Flyers

Of course we'd rather you send us Gagne, Carter and Richards

you can keep Briere

Ive noticed that this year as well. The high to the glove side seems to be less an less the killer for Henke. Its possible he has even become improved at handling the puck, something that always freaked me out in the past.

Every season is a chance to improve and build skill and character.

except for the fact he had his hand in bringing in/keeping some of the crap.
that said, i feel horrible for hank, as we all do. the guy deserves MUCH better.

I mentioned this a while ago...he definitely was playing further at then we are used to seeing, but I thought it was a good decision on his part.

I agree. Not trying to be a dick about this, but is he like really pissed with the rest of the team? It seems like every other night he has a ridiculous outing and the Rangers should win, but they lose 1-0 or something. Does he ever call guys out after the game? Again, not trolling or anything, I am genuinely interested.

hes a very good goalie. but not consistent enough if you want to call him like a top 5 goalie in the league....when hank is on (glove working) he is second to none without a doubt

but out of 70 starts, id say lundqvist is amazing 20, very good 30, 10 decent, and 10 starts where you shake ur head

rarely does he call out his teammates.

He really deserves the C.

Hurricanes fan here

I've always liked Lundqvist, but after watching yesterday's game, I'm convinced he's one of the top 3 goaltenders in the league. It's insane how he dominates despite the fact that the "team" in front of him looks like a three-ring circus.

Awful season. Thank god it's over. I hope there are major changes, for the sake of Hanks mental well being lol.
