I apologize if it's been said earlier in this thread but when do the playoffs start for the Narchs? The wait for the Kings to get going is killing me.

The first game is in Portland on Friday, I believe.

they used to have free streams on atdhe but they don't put them up no more, maybe they'll be back for the playoffs though (wishful thinking).. Monarchs have to step it up though, the last game of the season was horrific

Monarchs already down 1-0. Portland scored a PP goal at 6:18 in the 1st.

Most likely an injury.

Zeiler ties it up.

Hickey's also scratched, BTW.

Edit: Monarchs up 2-1. Bud Holloway on the power play.

For those that want the full scoring it was:

Zeiler from Gauthier in the 3rd
Holloway from Elkins and Azevedo in the 3rd

shots are currently 27 (Man), 19 (Portland)

Poor Ken Cail... I feel bad for him. He's got a scratchy throat and you can hear him coughing even when he's using the cough button. You can tell it's really bothering him but he's calling the game solo nonetheless.

Great win on the road for such a young team. Monarchs out shot Portland which is nice to see. Cliche back on the ice, good that his shoulder isn't hurt too badly.

It doesn't surprise me that Bernier stepped up for the win. The guy is a big time goalie.

Too bad about Hickey being a healthy scratch though.

It sounds like Hickey may have been injured in practice this week, and Voynov in one of their last couple games.

Hickey & Voynov out for the game, how come? It must be injuries, Hickey got a goal last game and they put Muzzin in instead of him, weird

From the Union Leader on the injuries

. The Monarchs were without key defensemen Thomas Hickey and Slava Voynov, both of whom were banged up in the April 10 tilt at Bridgeport. "It looks like they'll be a few days away," said Morris, who said that Voynov had resumed skating.

Funny thing was though i saw both Voynov and Lokti walking around together at work about a week ago. ( I work at a hotel) and Lotki was walking with limp but Voynov seem fine. They where two of the guys i really wanted to talk too but they both chatting away in russian, lol. I think the whole team was shocked that this random dude working in a hotel knew he every single one them was... haha.
