Good to hear. I've seen him play over a dozen times, he's a great player defensively. Does this mean he'll forego his senior year and play for Springfield?

Yep.

Just an hour or so after Scott "The Torg" Torgerson was ripping him for not being a pro yet.
It obviously worked.

With Moore, Ruth, maybe Savard and Goloubef, and of course Regner, Clitsome, Holden and a free agent or two (Bell or Sigalet back?) the Falcons defense is shaping up to be young and exciting next season.
I would not be surprised if Will Weber is offered a contract soon too. Same draft class as Ruth. Will has progress each year since the draft and the next step should be the AHL. He's 6'4" and plays a phisical game.
I was fortunate enough to meet Ted and his family when I was working at the draft; you could not possibly encounter any nicer people than them. I wish Ted all the best in his professional hockey career.
I'm just hoping he ends up being paired with John Moore. Then we can have a pairing of MORE TRUTH.

Thanks, Howson, for cleaning up MacLean's toxic waste. Welcome, Kekalainen; let's get good things built!

Definitely. I love this group and I'm of the opinion that there are 2 or more good NHL defenseman in there.
Ruth, a 6-0, 201 pounder, is from Naperville, Ill. He had 0-5-5 and 52 penalty minutes in 22 games with the Irish this season, an injury-shortened campaign. Most believe his best season was his freshman season, that his game has declined slightly since the Fedorov trade
