What to do?

Rangers are out. Mets are terrible. When does football season start?

I'm watching Maine pitch like Redden plays defense and wondering the same thing.

There's this really interesting thing going on called the NHL playoffs. It's where good hockey teams actually play hockey. You know, cycling the puck, setting up plays, playing a real strategic system. instead of skating around aimlessly like the Rangers do most of the time.

It's a wonderful sport, unfortunately those Rangers fans that don't watch other teams play are missing out on it.

I'm burnt out from the Rangers. I'll probably take off the first round, and then start watching the second round.

Sting, I probably watch and play way more hockey than you do.
I was merely poking fun at the fact that the NY teams that I enjoy watching play, are not very good.
Way to take it to another level.

Yeah, somehow I doubt that.

I've just seen numerous posts here during the last couple of days about how "hockey season" is over. I find it very annoying. No wonder this team's fanbase is as uneducated about the sport and the league as it is. So many of the fans are Ranger fans, not hockey fans. Missing out on a wonderful sport.

So that makes okay to single out my post? You know nothing about me. Profiling that "most" Ranger fans do not enjoy hockey has nothing to do with me.

This thread was started to have a little fun with NY's failing sports (with the exception of the Yankees). It was not started to blast hockey. Go kill some more threads and bolster your post count with your negativity and inability to have a sense of humor.

Sincerely,
Typical Ranger fan

I agree with the last post. It was a joke; a story with a humorous ending as Mr. Spock once said.

NFL draft is in two weeks.

NHL draft is in 11 weeks.

Until then...well, go to concerts, BBQ, see family, get in better shape, keep posting here

I was at a concert the other night actually. A Day to Remember was in NYC.

Watch the yankees. At least they're competent enough to put a contending team together most years

I think I have a pretty good sense of humor. Sorry dude, but nothing about your post indicated that it was a joke. Jokes are supposed to be funny.

I took it as a fully serious thread, and I did so mainly because it's very similar to the posts I mentioned. If it was meant to be a joke, you have my sincerest apologies. Had you not said that it was meant to be a joke, I would never have thought it was so.

No blood, no foul. I thought it went without saying but thanks for apologizing.

If they didn't get picked up by pirates, who do you think would eat who first. My money is on Maine. He looks like he could be a savage if he had to.

With Maine, I'm not too surprised that four years in everyone in the league has caught on that he throws a "deceptively fast fastball". When basically your only pitch was effective mostly because people aren't too familiar with you you're probably not going to stick around much.

That team is a mess

Bring back Bobby V!
