Yeah I'm pretty psyched. If it was any other baseball game I probably wouldn't go and would just stay home and watch the Flyers ($5 for front row tickets on the first baseline...I love minor league baseball), but I want to be able to say that I saw him pitch in AA before he's pitching in the bigs. Something to tell the grandkids about. Haha. Either way, GO FLYERS!

LOL, you said pop. Crazy Canadians. That soda machine story totally reminded me of the scene in "Dude, Where's my Car?" when the police are beating the dummy up, and the guys are trying to stop them from hurting it. I imagine Lappy sitting there saying, "But the soda machine didn't do anything to you," with a tear in his eye.

Good luck in game 2!
Sorry dude, I'm on the same boat as everyone else right now. Just to see rants like this make it totally worth half of his salary. And also just to not see him in a Flyers uniform anymore. I do wish you luck in the playoffs though.

So I acquired two more people to make the journey up tonight, and now I'm going with even numbers. 3 Debs fans, 3 Flyers fans. They better not let me down.

It was loud in the Rock on Wednesday, louder than I've ever heard it. If they take 1 of 2 in NJ, I'd be content. Although 2 of 2 would be really ****ing nice.

I think Lavi should destroy a soda machine again before the game, just to be safe.

Can't wait!

Carter with Hartnell and Asham, Which leaves Gagne-Richards-Briere and Carcillo-Betts-Lapperriere.

Powe out. While I would rather have Asham sit than Powe, I am glad Leino is in.

Dear Flyers,
Please don't let me down tonight.

Dear Brian Boucher,
Please continue your path back to the play that made me idolize you as a 10 year old.

And Brian Boucher, the third-string goaltender who hadn't won a playoff game in nine years, reached up with his mitt and essentially said "Look, ma, look what I found."

"That was his highlight film. They're going to see some of mine," Kovalchuk grimly told The Post.

Does that including back-checking? Cause if he did that would highlight worthy.

Best line I've heard in a while was from orange and black48.

They showed a bald Devils fan on the big screen at the game, who had red face-paint on. O&B responds: "Hey look, a tampon."

I don't know if Kovalchuk could have a worse game than Wednesday. I'd like to think the way we played made that happen, but I'm not fully confident saying it. They need to be ready tonight.

Not that I'm expecting it to happen, but can you imagine if he goes the whole series without scoring? He'd probably stalk Boucher down in the parking lot and shoot him.

He seemed pissed that Boucher had the gall to make the save. It was a nice one, but Boucher had his glove where it's supposed to be and Kovy put it right there. He also had a clear line of vision. I put the fault on that play more on Kovy than Boucher.

I certainly don't like the holier than thou feeling I got from that article. Whatever. Maybe if he keeps throwing Boucher under the bus, it'll just light more of a fire under his ass to make big saves like that.

The pressure is really mounting on Jersey. Their backs aren't quite against the wall, but they need a win tonight bad.

The Flyers need that first goal again. I can see this series playing out a little like the Montreal series in 2008. Keep them to the perimeter, always play with the lead. The Flyers didn't lose a game in regulation that series.

Lets take control of this series boys and take it back to Philly in front of the orange crush. Keep Kovy and company frustrated and get more shots on net then last game. **** the devils!
