Carter with Hartnell and Asham, Which leaves Gagne-Richards-Briere and Carcillo-Betts-Lapperriere.

Powe out. While I would rather have Asham sit than Powe, I am glad Leino is in.
Asham gets promoted? *sigh*

I like Lavi a lot, but his line combos can be so strange.

I said it yesterday - I do not like Hartnell/Carter/Asham. I hope I'm wrong and that they play well, but I don't like them on our end of the ice.

Not a fan of mixing up the lineup. We didn't dominate the game, but we won. Powe was using his speed well in Game 1 and hitting everything. Krajicek/Bart weren't amazing, but we won. I would prefer to leave it be.

Didn't someone post our record with Powe in the lineup vs. the record without him?

So, is Leino with JVR and Roo? Thats fine, but the Carter line is kind of gross. Maybe they are treating that as the 3rd line and limiting Carters playing time because he is still in a lot of pain???

Anyway, Lets Go FLYERS! Run Marty early and take the two!

Yes, and it's not a pretty number with Powe out of the lineup. How is it that the powers that be haven't seen that?

I thought Powe had a pretty good game on Wednesday, so I'm not sure why he's sitting.

Also not a big fan of mixing up the line-up. And while I love Asham, I'd sooner scratch him than Powe. I guess there's a chance, though, that Powe will still play rather than Asham. I think that like two weeks ago there was a situation like this one where the lines being used at practice were posted, and the guy that was left out (can't remember if it was Asham or Leino) ended up actually being in for the game. We'll see, I guess.

At any rate, go get 'em...

Maybe he is rotating the Healthy scratches to keep them fresh? Leino 1st, powe 2nd,
Asham 3rd? I think that i would actually be OK with that. Throw Hartnell in the mix too.

I dunno. Just guessing.

I'm okay with Powe sitting. In the 3rd period I even said where the **** has Powe been, then I looked for him and noticed some hits. Overrall he was a non-factor.

The Carter line is going to live and die by Carter. If he is playing well they'll get minutes, if he is showing signs of his injury they will be our 3rd line.

And I'm fine with all of that, as long as they don't get scored on. I don't like that line against somebody like Kovalchuk

From that CSN article:

Quote:
Dan Carcillo and Asham got into a friendly, albeit rather loud argument over a bet. Neither player would talk about specifics, but Asham was giving it to Carcillo about taking some licks, presumably from one of the Devils, and losing a bet. Carcillo wanted proof. “It was nothing, just a friendly bet between us,” Asham said. “We’re good friends.”

Hahaha, I'd love to hang out and have a beer with those two.

That's what I was thinking; Carter may not be ready for his usual minutes, so he centers a line with two other guys who don't deserve top-6 minutes anyway. Makes sense to me.

Last word is "he's expected to play."

From Phillyburbs.com
Quote:
"It looks like I'm in," Parent said after Thursday's practice at the Prudential Center. "I just want to go in and have a good game. I know what I've got to do."

Pretty sure he's playing, but we don't know who he will be replacing yet.

I agree, that line is not going to work. A rather piss poor line imo actaully. Who is going to get carter the puck? Stop trying to have 3 socring lines as you dont have the personal to do so. Rather have Pwoe than asham as well as he kills penalties and is amuch better skater.
