Apple Refreshes Macbook Pros

I'm highly disappointed in the 13" still having a Core 2 Duo. If it had an i5, I would have definitely bought one.

The new battery still amazes me.

edit: wow, think its a $200 jump for all, back to pre-recession prices I guess. Average users should jump at the old 13".

Unfortunately, this is what I expected from Apple.

I was hoping for things like mobile Radeon 56xx/57xx, at least an i3 in the 13", and held out slim, slim hopes for BR, but these are pretty minor speed bumps.

Noticed the price of the base 15" jumped by $100, but the 17" seems much cheaper. Weird. The 13" gets a speed and GPU bump, but eww, a C2D in a laptop that starts at $1200?

Edit: I don't even know why I bother complaining about Apple's configurations anymore, they're clearly catering to a different breed of user than me.

The 13-inch model update is pretty underwhelming.

Goodness these laptops are expensive. Is it worth $800 for the extra battery life over a comparably equipped Vaio? I could buy 10 extra batteries for the price difference.
