First of all, don't judge someone that you don't know. I happen to know him quite well, and he is the man. He is going out with my sister and has for awhile. He is one of the most down to earth, funny people that I know, and is extremely knowledgeable about hockey. He is moving to Maryland on only a temporary basis, he's going to work for a minor league baseball team in the offseason, he'll be back for next year. And he's not moving until this season is over anyway.
I don't get why him moving to maryland would mean he would stop going to the games? I live almost 4 hours from the Wachovia center and I'm broke and I still manage to go to at least a few games per year.... If the Flyers were PAYING me to come to the games (and you know he's at very least going to the games for free), I'd go to every one.

I went to High School with Shawn. The guy was pretty funny every day. He will be missed.
He went to Washington Township right? I know a couple of kids that went to school with him, or at least said they did, they all said he was a pretty cool, funny guy from what they knew. They weren't really friends with him though... once again if it was actually the same kid and not just another funny fat guy named shawn lol.

I'm sure he's benefited from the experience, and I don't mean financially. He got to do a few commercials, did get the Phantoms in-house arena gig, and goes to the Carnival for photos and stuff. Considering he was a radio,tv, film major at Rowan, I'm sure he's getting some connections.

I didn't realize a Flyers celebrity was patrolling my backyard! I am a junior Electrical Engineer at Rowan living in Sewell. The next time I see a brunette female police officer in Glassboro I am going to stop and ask for her autograph. I will have a 50/50 shot at either meeting you or getting arrested, gotta like those odds.
My only question is this . . . for a guy who dances 41 nights over a 4 month span . . . plus playoffs . . . how do you not lose weight? I mean . . . i imagine he practices at home in front of the mirror too. You don't just come up with those moves on the fly there.
It is the same question I have about Hurley on Lost . . . how the **** are you still so huge living on an island for 3+ years eating nothing but fruit and some meat and walking all over the ******* place. . . just boggles the mind!

I have had this conversation many, many times before. There was one season where he actually looked even bigger than the one before, I think he still has some of that Dharma stuff stashed away from the first season, if I were a survivor with him I would be following him 24/7 til I found it.
Ive had season tickets since 07 and i could have sat right near him but opted not to. The ticket rep said they pay for his seats. I dont mind him its just i see it every game im 25 feet away it got old for me last year. He pumps the crowd up though.

As far as unique fans, I gotta say the green men in Vancouver are pretty solid and the spaceman in Washington is pretty epic as well. Dancing Shawny was rad and will be missed, but I don't think anyone knows who he is unless you've been to a game.
