We seriously need to take the Period 1 work and extend it to the entire 60 minute this time. Look at the highlights in the video of the 1st period, there are no plays from Washington.

O'B in, i'm pleased. Darche out, as much as I like his story, he was not playing well: good move. Price in net: I would have kept Halak in netm but the fact is that whoever is in net, it won't make a big impact if the team don't get the message and play well in front of the guy.

The issue in Game 3 was more us not getting one by Varlamov in the 1st and their first goal deflating us. We need an early goal or at least to score the first goal tonight to win.

Well, tonight is a must win.

I have faith that Carey will make some big saves for us tonight. 4-2 Habs.

I really like the changed that were made. So with OB in, MAB moves to the 4th line with some PP time right? That would be awesome.

If that happens, I will be REALLY upset for Carey... He is due for a game where the following bad luck doesn't happen: A. own teammate plowing him and puck, in the net (I'm looking at you, Hamrlik) B. puck deflects off 6 players, and goes in. Habs' fowards owe him goal support.....BIG time.

Carey MUST be miraculous tonight to keep the boo birds' mouth shut.

If he allows Caps to take the lead and score more than one goal, well, we all know what's gonna happen.

No, it's not Gerber/Ward.

Gerber flat out sucked for two games. Halak played an incredible Game #1, good for most of Game #2 (horrid ending, yes), and in Game #3 he had no chance.

If people think a goalie change is going to help us win, they are crazy. To win, the team needs to be better. After Carey Price came in the other night, we still let in more goals than we scored - and that's not Price's fault, the team was brutal for the most part.

There's one and only one way we can win and thats if the team plays well. If the team runs into Price, doesn't clear the front of the net, gives the puck away right in front of Price --- we're not going to fare any better in the long run.

Our goalies have done the job all season. No need to blame either of them.

Anyway, I hope the team can get their minds on the game and play a great game. Go Habs Go!!

Key player for this line is Moen. He needs to step up more and perhaps the two other guys will fallow.
Thats just why i brought them up. The effort is there, but when its time to throw the body around they get really timid. I agree, Moen has to be the catalyst, physically for that line. When you think about it, Moen might be the only guy on the entire team who is known for being an aggressive, physical type player. Even though we've been successful putting the puck in the net, we still haven't put out a line that physically demanding to play against. The 3rd line is pretty much our only hope.

MAB can take the 2 min Darche had then add something on the PP, looks a good move; and Price has to be ready, get into it guy! Stone them!!!

No Sergei/Subban, that's too bad, but what do I know about making a lineup -- anyway Go Habs Go, score a few and then some more and don't let up, these Caps are beatable!!!

Crosby is a million times classier.. Ovechkin is like a monkey that escaped from the zoo.

The fans need to keep their expectations realistic. This is the Washington Capitals, the #1 team in the Eastern conference. If Price gets boo'ed out of town, next thing you know, he'll demand a trade himself. Then he'll win a Stanley Cup with another team, I guarantee it. It seems like the anti-Price media and fans still "don't get it". Carey Price has the potential to be a franchise goalie and one of the only young stars on a Canadian franchise. It would deeply sicken me to see Carey help out some American franchise like Chicago, San Jose or some dead-end American market. He has respectable numbers at age 22, flashes of brilliance at times, a great skill set and a winning resume. You don't just give up on that because he isn't amazing at age 22.

If the media/fans get what they want and Price is traded, who's going to be the next scapegoat? Halak? He better watch his back then because the very same fans who have been rooting for Halak will turn on him too when Cedrick Desjardins comes up. Sad but true.

We all know Alex Ovechkin has a huge ego and is a joke of a captain. Sure, Washington can continue to play Harlem Globetrotter-style hockey but will they win anything that way? Nope.

The bigger the game, the more invisible Ovechicken gets.

I ****ing hate scalpers but you have to show some respect to a guy who refuses to sell tickets to Ovechkin. Support your team anyway you can!

GO HABS GO

Let's take it higher!

They just refused to sell at the "discount price" Ovechkin offered. He is notoriously cheap
