Post Game Talk: Playoff-ticker

I created this thread to have somewhere to discuss the ongoing playoffs from Red Wings perspective, especially how the players are performing etc.

Grading the team now, my list would look something like this.


Forwards
Zetterberg 4
Datsyuk 3
Franzen 3
Filppula 3.5
Helm 3
Miller 3
Eaves 3
Holmstrom 3
Bertuzzi 3
Draper 2.5
Cleary 2.5
Abdelkader 3
Williams 2

Defenders
Lidstrom 3.5
Rafalski 2.5
Stuart 4
Kronwall 3.5
Ericsson 2.5
Lilja 3


Goalie(s)
Howard 3.75


The three players that need to step their game up is Franzen, Lidstrom and Datsyuk. These guys need to be solid 4:s or better if we want to advance.

I think Cleary will improve with Datsyuk and Franzen, Holmstrom might go down since he will be playing with Miller and Draper.

All the players had a great game 4 so they improved IMO, but they have to keep it going.

In my eyes, Homer is either a top-6 forward, or he's a healthy scratch/only plays pp.

Having him play with scrubs doesn't serve a purpose as his main talent is the crease role, and those lines will never get the offensive zone pressure to enable that role to be filled anyway.
