Marcus Krüger

I really like Marcus Krüger from Djurgården i the SEL. He netted the OT winner against HV71 yesterday in the swedish SM-Final game 4.

A line combo with MPS-Krüger-Omark would be real nice to have.

What can we offer the Blackhawks for the rights to him?

Thoughts?

Riley Nash? If he isn't going to sign here might as well trade him.

I think Ace gets the point that there have been a lot of threads to think about. So let's start over. If there are comments on the actual topic at hand then go for it.

The cost would simply be too high for a player that is unproven at the NHL level- although I, too, really like him.

We're better off to draft our own Swedish late-round gem. Ludvig Rensfeldt, Daniel Magnusson, Martin Olsson, Emanuel Åström, Felix Andersson and Patrik Näslund all have intriguing skills/assets and could be major finds.

This guy reminds me of Alfredsson - he battles everywhere for the puck. Goes to the front of the net, and has a complete skill-set.

He was drafted as a 19-year old - but even for his age, that was an un-****ing believable season. Those are Backstrom-at-19-esque numbers he put up.

I don't know how he stacks up physically, and his speed isn't that great either. But he's got the hockey IQ and battle level to make it.

It makes me sick that he went in the 5th round.
