Why because Dallas has an agreement with Montreal to place their prospects on that team until the end of this season.

Next year Ott and Daley will probably move to Des Moines as Dallas owns and operates along w/ Howard Baldwin that new team which last played in Louisville, KY AS A Panthers affiliate IN 2001.

Des Moines and Baldwin signed a five year agreement w/ Dallas hence why the new/transferred franchise I mentioned in my last post, slink, is called the Iowa Stars.

Calgary's AHL Franchise FWIU which happened to be in Saint John, NB between 1993-2003 and the Calder Cup winner 2 years prior to merger of the IHL LOOKS TO BE PLACED in Omaha, NE

Nothing says ice hockey like Iowa and Nebraska.
