Green will not get the Norris, terrible defensively, not even close. Its between Doughty and Keith, and Keith has had a great season . . should be close.
I'm so happy for him! I feel like a proud mom (even though he's only 10 1/2 years younger than me). Now let's go out tonight and win to make today even more awesome!
Congrats to Drew - an honor either way. I actually think he has a shot at it, and I think it's ironic that what probably gave him that shot were his performances in games that weren't even NHL games!
The scary thing is that Green might win it, if the votes split between Drew & Keith.
I doubt it. The votes are 1st-5th place, I'm sure Doughty and Keith got most of the 1st and 2nd place votes. Most of the writers that I've seen that have gone public have said they voted Drew #1.

Can you post which ones? I know Lebrun (ESPN) voted for Doughty. Just curious what the others thought.
Keith had all the hype and momentum for the Norris pre-Olympic break. But during the Olympics everyone was talking about Doughty and since the games, it seems most of the media is now actually following the Kings for a change. Not that the Olympics should play a part in the voting but they do and I consider it fair because of how much of the media seemed surprised by Drew's play in the Olympics...it wouldn't have been news to them had they ever watched the Kings before that.
I'd like to say it's between them and Green is a distant third but who knows. Green finished a close second to Chara last year which was crazy.
Grats DD. I think Keith will win, but I have read lately that a few "top" experts have said they gave their 1st place vote to Drew so maybe he can win it.
