I got my Doughty 3rd jersey in the mail yesterday! Let's hope it's lucky! So far, so good. Doughty was nominated for the Norris...come on my new jersey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In all seriousness, we have to contain the twins, Quick has to play better, and we can't get caught up ice like we did a few times last game. We can't get into a shooting, end to end battle with them because we will lose.

I'm mad that mine hasn't even been shipped off yet. They will be getting another hello from me. It's pretty retarded.

Not worried about Quick in this game he plays well on the road, its the home games where he always leaves me nervous.

How much did you pay for it? I'm thinking of getting a DD jersey from the TeamLA store.

I'd kill for that scenario to be true. That's what I've been hoping and praying for all along - that the Kings have a chance to win the series at home for game 6.

Other advantage - Quick can have some of that outstanding pre-game meal chicken again from Vancouver for tonight's game. If the Kings win, I say we ship whatever that meal is home to LA so he can eat it again for game 6.

Morning skate's, hopefully it stays going when the kings get on.

edit: they panned to the canucks locker-room and you can see Hammond in there walking around all awkward haha

The two games in Vancouver were much tighter than the two games in Los Angeles, expect more of the former tonight. Their last change is gonna push us into full shutdown mode again, and we need to pounce on every opportunity they get because there wont be many. Just lock down our own end and the rest will fall into place.

I would kill for this scenario! Let's make this a GREAT day - first Doughty with the Norris nod, and a Kings' victory tonight!!

I have a genial sense of tranquility about tonight's game. I'm not worried at all. We will win this game.

But just in case, I will be drinking.

A guy who's been injured for half a year, got burned defensively in game one, sat games two through four, and you're going to throw him on the checking line? The same line that's supposed to stop the Sedins, right?

Fail, Murray.

Gotta remember, Canucks have last change. Depends on how much Murray wants to flip lines.

Also...where's Stoll? I assumed Parse would play four line RW even though Hammond has Halpern listed twice.

As average as Stoll has played this series, I think it's a bad idea to scratch your best faceoff man.

For every faceoff that Jones is on the ice for, the Sedins will follow. Jones should only be used on the fly after a shift by the Sedins.

I would double shift Doughty and Greene with Johnson for faceoffs.
