With last change you use the "fourth" line hopefully ten minutes or so, getting them out there against Washington's fourth. Those wingers make more sense with Metro than Moore, and vice versa.
I think everyone needs to come to the realization that PK Subban isn't coming up this year AT ALL.
Sure he is, if...
- They beat the Capitals and move on
- More than 1 defenseman have a long term injury
- They realize that Bergeron is worse than having a peewee player at the point on the PP
- The Bulldogs get eliminated from the playoffs in the AHL
- Etc.
I don't know what games some of you are seeing. Gorges has been a beast, Pouliot was one of the few in Game 3 and 4 that tried to change the game with a hit and he was right in front of the net and would have scored if Valdermort didn't make a freakin amazing save.
We should be going 6 D if Spacek is ready to go and bench MAB. Pouliot and SK deserve to be in there. Everyone who played last night deserves to be there. Even Hamrlik. We need to keep him under 15 minutes to be effective.

In my opinion, if Spacek comes back, Jacques Martin should definitely consider playing with 7 D. That way, Bergeron's playing time could be limited to special situations, such as the powerplay, faceoffs in the ofensive zone etc.
I can understand how both Pouliot and S. Kostitsyn deserve to be playing, however, as it stands right now, Martin will probably look at limiting their icetime to no more than 5-7 minutes.
Even though Bergeron is less deserving than Pouliot or S. Kostitsyn, in my opinion 5-7 minutes of Bergeron, mostly on the PP, would have more positive impact than 5-7 minutes of Pouliot/SK.
