Its that time of year where College, ECHL, AHL, and NHL teams sell off their equipment at super low prices. I just got back from the Hartford Wolf Pack sale and picked up a Reebok 8k game used helmet (Trevor Glass), a pair of Edge hockey socks, and 2 oakley visors for 60 bucks. I'm going to be hunting for more of these sales and was wondering if anyone on here knew what teams were having them and when?
Also, I figure this thread could be a great resource to anyone with knowledge of these sales to post what they know for everyone like time date location and prices.
i think the blue jackets one is around the draft as well. but if anyone knows for sure or has information about any OSU equipment sale, i would love to know.
I went to the Manchester Phoenix sale today (UK team) and picked up a pair of game used ccm 652 Tacks for £10. Insane. A few holes but a nice pair of shorts and it'll save me at least £50 on buying a girdle or a new pair of shorts. They were Ryan Johnson's if anyone knows/cares. I've had my picture with him, now I have his pants!
devils equipment sale is like christmas, ESPECIALLY if youre a lefty shot. all the sticks are 50 bucks. i saw last year a TON of lefty sticks still in the shipping plastic. right handed sticks get scooped up soooo fast because the devils have very few right handed shots. but they sell skates sticks gloves helmets, socks. its wild.

Went to the AHL Springfield Falcons sale today, it was small but nice. It started at 9 but me and my friends got there at 8ish and they let us in. MY buddy got a Farrel chest protector (That weird one with all those squares) and a 9k Girdle for 10 bucks each, Helmets were 25 used, prices overall really good. The sale is still going on this week too so you can stop by. I got a new pair of shin guards for 50 as well as some nice Pants for 40. There were very little sticks and no skates =(
Also, I will post the Sound Tigers sale when I find out when it is and the Islanders usually have theirs on Draft Day like the Devils.
Called the Isles team store today...they were unsure of the date of the equipment sale, but to keep checking the website.
Lefties are in luck though since they have some game used sticks for fairly cheap. No returns are in stock though, and he wasn't sure how many would be in the future.

Hehe, I know. I thought it'd get a reaction of some kind, rather here on a hockey forum where people know roughly what I'm talking about, than on my Facebook page where I was dared to post that!
Just called the Sound Tigers office and they told me they are conducting inventory as I spoke and that they would host their sale either this weekend or next weekend. They don't know the exact date as of yet. I do know though that season ticket holders get 1st dibs on everything so if anyone on here plans to attend and is a season ticket holder, can you PM because you are allowed 1 guest and I would throw you some $$ to let me tag along early
the Chiefs used to sell their equipment during the season. Picked up a pair of Bauer XXXX skates for $20. Some rust on the blade and the skate itself has seen better days, but for what I'm using it for, I got a good deal.
They had gloves, a blocker, and a few helmets during the last game. Not sure if anybody picked them up or not.
