Wonder where PK fits in the lineup. Gill/Gorges and Markov O'Byrne are solid. MAB with anyone is a disaster, ditto as a forward, hell even on the PP he's creating fantastic SH chances for the other team. Personally if Spacek is out I'd just put PK with Hamr and hope for the best, bench MAB altogether.

But that's not going to happen, is it.

I think that's exactly what happens. MAB out and PK in.

I don't see any alternative to pairing him with Hamrlik. Not only would it preserve the other pairs but playing with a rookie would probably make Hamrlik more careful defensively.

In honor of this GDT's video game theme:

Make Ovy's head bleed.

BTW, way too much optimism in this thread. The team won last game because everybody had written them off, so we should continue doing just that.

I sooo hope MAB is scratched and that S.Kost is in.. ( we won each time S.Kost plays).

We need to put our best players, and S.Kost is clearly better than Darche or MAB on the 4th.

So I'm guessing;

Camalleri - Plekanec - Kostitsyn
Moen - Gomez - Gionta
Pyatt - Moore - Lapierre
Pouliot - Metropolit - MAB

Markov - O'Byrne
Hamrlik - Subban
Gill - Gorges

Halak

Seem about right? I'd rather have Sergei Kostitsyn in for MAB, since PK has a good enough shot to fill in on the PP.

that 4th line will be ineffective with MAB in... I hope Martin finally understood it.

I really don't care if it's Mathieu Darche or Sergei Kostitsyn playing. Anything but MAB at forward.

Darche will win battles down low and never give up. He's a solid 4th line player. At the same time, Sergei can score at any given second, but is less likely to go all out. MAB will just skate around in circles at forward.

If I were Martin, I'd go with;

Cammalleri - Plekanec - A. Kostitsyn
Moen - Gomez - Gionta
Pyatt - Moore - Lapierre
Pouliot - Metropolit - Darche/S. Kostitsyn [don't care]

Markov - O'Byrne
Hamrlik - Subban
Gill - Gorges

POWERPLAY

Metropolit - Gomez - Gionta
Markov - Subban

Cammalleri - Plekanec - A. Kostitsyn
Markov/Hamrlik - Spacek

We lost our last 6 playoffs games at home.

I don't like the trend.

Anyway, Martin is barely playing his fourth line right now. He will use them just to give a break to the first two. Bergeron should play there just to be available for the PP. I think that Pouliot AND SK could sit this one out.

If so, the other kid should slow down enough to make it around at the same time as BGL

Gomez - Gionta - Cammy

Subban has to be on the left.

Not sure. If those Octane babes end up showing, I think it will impair his skating even more... if you catch my drift

I think Washington may be a little suprised by PK. I think they may underestimate him. Much like they did with Halak.
