But we're not playing Philly. And neither loss was PK's fault. Heck in one of them he was among the best players on the ice. Plus we're not so hot when MAB's on the ice lately.

There better be riots if PK is not in the lineup.

I hope he lays out Backstrom and then Subby-doos around Ovechkin.

Honestly, he was our best player by far in those 2 games, I think if I remember correctly he was the only Hab that ended with a + in the +/- column.

Those two games with PK were also missing Markov, Cammalleri and A Kostitsyn.

I just woke up. Bergy out, him in ? Bergy is useless. Subban already as a better defensive game than Bergy... Hell, most of us do too.

I am so excited to see PK play again. I figure Montreal waited till the Dogs series was over to call him up, maybe out of respect for Boucher? Either way this could be the stuff legends are made of if he helps us beat the Caps, go PK!

PK was far from being the reason we lost those 2 games. In fact, by my estimation, he was the best Habs player on the ice those 2 games.

Also, I know he hasn't been confirmed to play, but why else would they call him up? PK will be in the line up tonight, I'm willing to bet on it.

I guess that if Hammer's injury is going to keep him from playing, there's not much choice, but if that's the case I'm not going to rejoice too much. Sorry to be a party pooper but it's not a good sign.
I'm not too enthused about it either. That's also why I'm not convinced he'll play. It must mean that Spacek is still out. If Hammer were to miss the game as well (which would definitely mean he's injured), then I can see him entering the line up.

I wouldn't be surprised though to see Martin scratch Sergei again and alternate 7 Dmen. Instead of having S.Ko play 3min, might as well bring another D that will give you some needed depth on PP.

I don't think PK can play a huge role, but like I said in a previous post, hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised.
That is if he even plays.

****, this fan base is so retarded.

1) It's 1 game. It's not going to ruin him. Relax.

2) He's playing. There's no way he's not. He gives us a legit chance to win this game by improving our PP GREATLY. MAB has been useless back there for the last few games and he may be causing Markov to screw up by overthinking passes because he's afraid that MAB will miss his pass.

3) 0-2? Seriously? Over-analyze much? He had 2 points in those games. He was responsible for almost coming back against the Flyers in the first game.

Relax people and just enjoy him whether it be for only this game or for a series win.

A little fresh blood in a 'must win' game isn't a bad idea. Can Maguire handle having to speak about a dman not named John Calrson though?

Regardless, Subban's been called up to play, doesn't make much sense to waste the last callup to sit. I would think Bergeron gets scratched for him or possibly skates at forward but that'd be redundant.
Hamrlik had plenty of time to recuperate during the 2weeks off thanks to the Olympics. Fatigue should not be an issue at all.

Bergeron will not get scratched. If Subban plays it'll be because Spacek can't, and we'll be rotating 7 D with Sergei being scratched.

I'd be really surprised to see Spacek/Sergei/PK in and MAB out.

Funny, I fully realize he can flat out cost a goal by a rookie mistake but at this point, I don't give a ****!!! lol

I think its a nice gift to the Bell center fans and an awesome way to use the crowd to our advantage. It shouldn't be terrible. His ice time can be managed according to his play since Martin has had no problem working with a short bench in case it doesn't work out.

I realize its a massive stage to jump in as a rookie but if anyone can shine, I think this kid's got it. How much pressure is there, really? We're heavy underdogs, no expects us to win the series, let alone string 3 wins together vs the league's top team. I think we're going for double or nothing. Ain't wrong with spinning the wheel and see if you land on the jackpot.

Go PK!!!!

Hopefully not. I knew something was up. He hasn't looked very good the last few games.
