Thanks.

Haha. Their second line looks dangerous. Have to keep them under control.

I thought I'd finished hearing Journey years ago. Oh well, the song fits! Go Preds! And a little Nugent 'attitude' won't hurt. ( Cat scrath fever? lol ) Good vid.

Go Preds!

That's what I figured. Good vid. When I first saw it I thought of the wrong song, thinking of when he dedicated the live recording of a different tune to "all that Nashville (girls)".

The image of Hossa celebrating after his goal should be burned into the retinas of every player and coach on that team, if it isn't already.

I know the boys are capable of winning this game and series. So WIN!

I believe the Preds can do this. If nothing else, maybe Saturday's game will be enough incentive to play the full 60 the way it should be played.

Biggest game in Predators history. Lose and we continue with the agony of defeat in the playoffs.

Win however, and watch out. We've never been so close to playoff success. We've never won three games in the playoffs. We've also never played a game seven.

Game five despite the outcome showed that we can score goals, we can come back from being down and we can take the fight to them in Chicago.

I hope it's a packed house, I hope the team shows up ready to go and gives a full 60 minutes of hard hitting hockey. Leave it all out on the ice, and most importantly keep it simple, nothing cute. Legwand's goal with Ward screening shows: SHOOT THE PUCK.

I'm greedy but I'll say it anyways: I don't want a game seven, I expect a game seven.

Make it so.

This is it, our whole season comes down to this game, the last 87 games mean nothing, lose this one and we are out.

Somehow i believe that we will come out and play like game 3.

So Let's go Preds, we got this

Ok so everyone get the whining and gnashing of teeth out of the way? Me too haha

I didn't expect this team to even make the playoffs but here they are.

Sure I wish we had a Kolvachuk, but we don't (alot of good he did NJ eh?) But really that is part of the Preds appeal, just a bunch of lunch pail guys who play hard.

Anyways we have had alot of 1st, maybe this will be the 1st time they force a game 7. Even if they don't, I'll still be a fan and torture myself again next year

Let's do this!

I BELIEVE! LET'S GO PREDATORS!

Preds win 3-2. Goals from the Invisible Man, Steve Sullivan, and David Legwand.

I don't know if anybody has brought this up since I haven't been able to read about the loss until today (too painful, still having nightmares about it), but the Preds have a decent habit of rebounding well from heart-crushing losses. On the other hand, if they don't rebound and we lose tonight, somebody better take Hossa out for the rest of the playoffs.

No, apart from it being quite cruel to wish an injury on a player why would you wish it upon Hossa, especially since he has cursed the Penguins, Wings and if we can't beat the Hawks in this series, then hopefully the Hawks as well.

per Glennon, Hornqvist is taking morning skate and sounds optimistic about playing tonight

I want to be excited about tonight. I just don't feel it yet. I am nervous and can't help but think they will come out all sad-sack and choke.

Here's how I feel about the series at this point:

We have all had our hearts ripped out from Game 5. We haven't ever experienced a moment more excruciating than the ending of that game. We were so close to the biggest win in team history and just like that it's gone. We now have two options. One, we roll over like a team that expects to lose and knows Chicago has momentum. Or two, we man up and play like a team with 100 points and we go back into our building and show them that we essentially beat them Saturday and we're gonna beat them again. Show that it was a fluke that will never happen again. Get angry. Get furious. Take back the joy they got from that debacle. Everyone is quick to say "oh we're screwed now.", or "that was our chance". Well, there's nothing to say that if we would've won Game 5 that Chicago wouldn't have come out firing on all cylinders and taken it to us so fast we didn't know what hit us, then we're right back in a Game 7 scenario. This team has been known for being resilient all season long and this can be just another chapter in that book. In March when we lost at San Jose by giving up 6 third period goals we turned around and won 7 straight games. That was the turning point of the season. Let's make this the turning point of the playoffs.

At the very least he can be a pick me up like Campbell was for the Hawks.

I thought Arnott was to now be known as Dina's Husband

I know I'm a cross-posting son of a for this.. but I don't care.

If you’ve ever brought a sign to a game and put it against the glass when the players take the ice for the pre-game skate, you’ve noticed that the players do take a quick glance at them. Imagine their reaction if every fan along the glass had a sign that said “60 MINUTES!” Imagine the talks in the locker room between the pre-game skate and the opening face-off. Now imagine that you had a part in that talk.

To take part in our little movement, all you have to do is right-click on the files below, print them out and bring them to the game. In addition to the 60 MINUTES sign, there’s also a copy of the chant list that we’ve been putting in every seat in section 303 during the series. We wanted to make sure this was available to anyone who wanted one that wasn’t fortunate enough to sit with us up in 303.

So please, download, print and bring it along. Let’s do our part in forcing a Game 7 where anything can happen.

how about we boo Hossa & refs every time he 1) touches the puck & 2) every time a whistle is blown

It's going to happen anyway. Of course it isn't the refs fault, they gave him a 5 minute major which is essentially proof that they would've agreed with a suspension.
