I got off the phone with my rep as well and my seats in 328 J will remain 56.00 for full season ticket holders. The individual price from ticketmaster is going up though, according to what he told me.

I guess hoping for a decrease was a bit unrealistic. As a season ticket holder I don't mind them increasing the individual game prices though as it helps us sell extra games at a competitive price.
I have been a season ticket holder since 1998, and I think I am done. I sit in the 400's and #1, I do not enjoy going to games as much as I used to and #2 there is less and less demand for tickets out there and selling off games (I usually go to about 15 or so) is becoming more of a chore than it is worth. No, I do not just keep the popular games. The guy who sits next to me lost his job and put a lot of games up on the exchange at $40 each. Just wanted to get his money back (they charge a 5% commission to the seller) and he wasn't able to sell 1 game.
I didn't pay for the play-off tickets this season. The first time I ever did that. I am simply not paying $65 for the first round and there really is no point to having season tickets if I am not going to buy the play-off tickets.
In all seriousness, if there is someone out there who wants to take my entire season less five games and then have play-off rights, pm me and we can talk. You'd get to sit with the lovely FutureGM97 (his coyote loving butt sits 2 rows in front of me).
I also got a call saying my tickets in 409 are NOT going up. But, do to reduced economic circumstances I must split my pair with someone or give them up.

Wait, what? This sounds like a crock to me. I don't know how or why they could make this demand. Unless it was in some kind of contract you signed how would this be legal?

I believe you misunderstood his post as I'm thinking the economic circumstances are his own.
I have the 12 game package but I partnered with 3 friends and none of us has $$. $45 a ticket plus LIRR or NJ Transit. Even if we cut out cheap food and beer (Rosas Pizza in Penn) it's still a lot of $$....

No, she's saying SHE can't afford a full season. If she can't find someone to split them with she's not paying for them.

Best argumant to buy season tickets is the difference between single game and season price. Center 300's were $60 for STH and $76.50 per game this year. When I first bought them 16 years ago there was only a $3 difference $23/$26.
