OT: Hockey place in Minnesota

Hi there.

I'll be in Minneapolis the next week for work issues and I was wondering where can I find a bar or restaurant to watch game 6 and (please God!) game 7 of the Caps/Habs series.

I'll be at the Raddison University and there is an Applebee downstairs but I'm not sure they'll have the game on - maybe there's some other sport at the same time ?

I highly doubt there is a specific Habs place but at least a hockey prone bar.

Thanks in advance.

Applebee's should work. However, I'd recommend Sally's (a couple blocks away on Washington) if you want to watch hockey. Better food, better atmosphere and more televisions.
EDIT: Campus Pizza also works, but I'm not sure where they relocated.

caps/habs will likely be on versus, which should be available nearly anywhere you go.

As for a Habs bar...the Applebee's you're eying up will probably have to do.

Thanks for your suggestions. I've been to Sally's last year and it looked like a nice place. I'll have to decide depending on my schedule too since I finish work rather late, around 17h.

Concerning the Bulldog place - some more info please ? What would it make it so special ? The food, the atmosphere ? Is it more of a hockey bar ?

Thanks again.

Everything. Its considered in the Top 5 (normally #1 or #2) for bars in the entire metro area. Food is amazing for a bar, tons of beer on tap, and just a really good atmosphere especially since its not right next to the colleges.

My reading comprehension skills must be going to hell, I totally expected this to be a thread about how popular the sport of hockey is in Minnesota comparred to NFL, MLB & NBA! haha

In my defense, if you just add an apostrophe "S" to the end of the word "Hockey" in the threads title I could have been right! haha

Why the St. Paul one compared to the Nordeast or Uptown Bulldog? Either way, the place has amazing tots and a great beer selection.
