unless you feel that Spacek has a big time negative value, this deal is heavily favoring St-Louis.
I like Perron, a lot, but he's another smallish player that doesn't fit our needs any better than A.Kost (aside from being younger/cheaper), Crombeen is a decent asset, but far from a proven commodity, Allen is no more proven than any of the prospects you listed on our side.
can't see how this makes us better from an asset pov or from a roster pov.

Make it Weber or Carle and I like this deal. Clowe fits a big time need, would look great next to Gomez/Gionta (freeing up Pouliot to centre the 3rd line).
Demers is a nice young Dman who would compliment the young talent we already have (Subban, Gorges, O'Byrne + Demers = a very solid and cheap nucleus moving forward... factor in Markov/Gill, and it's a very good defense corp right now).
Halak fits a big need for the Sharks, but only if they let go of Nabokov for cap reasons... which would make taking Hamrlik back a non-starter i think.
Swap it to Spacek and I think it makes more sense for the sharks.

solid deal.
I really Like Brouwer, A LOT... even more of a great fit with gionta/gomez than Clowe would be imo...
Beach is a prospect I like as well, a bit brash but Boucher would fix that quickly, giving us the kind of player we need/lack up front in 2-3 years.
S.Kost will eventually be a very good NHLer... maybe reuniting with Kane helps him turn the corner.
Halak would seemingly solve the Hawks goaltending issues.
If they lose to the nucks and Niemi struggles, I see them jumping at this deal, but if Niemi plays well and they make the conference or cup finals, i doubt they trade any assets away to address goaltending

I'd do this, but with the way howard has played this year, and with Lidstrom/Rafalski getting near the end, I don't see the Wings ever considering this.

tough one, I like the thought of JVR, but he hasn't shown enough to make me comfortable with the potential of solving Philly's goaltending need for years to come...
but it would be hard to turn down.

Malone would be another nice fit in our top 6, and the 6th overall would be great to have.
Not sure if TB would be willing to take on 3 contracts while giving up a potential strong young player who will/could be a cheap roster asset for the next few seasons.
I'd do it, not so sure about TB.

Wouldn't touch this one with a ten foot pole...
Penner is one bad season away from being back to the vastly overpaid/underperforming player he was going into this season... while he was pretty solid this year, impossible to know if he finally "gets it" or if he'll revert back to his mediocre work habits this offseason...
Gilbert is overpaid and not really a need with Markov/Subban/Spacek already here. As bad as Hamrlik has been down the stretch, he was better overall this year than Gilbert was.
Jaques and Stortini are dime a dozen 4th liners.
Bad overpayment from our side even if we do get rid of the Laraque buy-out.

only if you consider Hamlik a pure salary dump...
imo Halak+Kost =/> Benn/Neal + Chiasson + 2nd.
Swap Chiasson for Niskanen and I'd like it a lot more.
