I feel bad for Poti, he's played well and I wouldn't wish that type of potentially life altering injury on anyone. The Caps will adjust, and we saw first hand the type of spark adding a young player can add when PK played last game. For the record I haven't been worried about their ability to keep pucks out nearly as much as their ability to score so adding an offensive minded D with nothing to lose scares me a bit.

I think there's misconceptions about Alzner's play. He's a meat and potatoes D at the pro level. He concentrates on having a positionaly sound game. He'll never be mistaken with Carlson, who's much more offensive.
