Gill's knucklepuck shot is greatly underrated. If he has the time to set it up, his long stick will guarantee us the game.

After years of Terry Ryans and Eric Chouinards, this is oh so true.

Can't you just feel the love and enthusiasm for Les Habitants going into tonight's game from some Bruins fans ? With that amount of wholehearted cheering from our fans... the Habs will probably get clocked 8-1 so we'll just have to count on you folks for the wholeheartedness.

Probably. Barring a major transaction getting us one or two d-men, Subban has a spot next year. The only other way he'd lose that spot is if he's greatly outplayed during training camp by Yannick Weber or Mathieu Carle, but I just don't see it happening. So yeah, chances are he'll be a regular next year, and I sure hope so.

same lineup

C'est d'ailleurs le même alignement que lors du sixième match qui sera envoyé dans la mêlée. C'est donc dire que P.K. Subban jouera à titre de septième défenseur alors que Jaroslav Spacek sera une fois de plus laissé de côté.

Weber has some good upside to his game, thats for sure.

You guys don't see any of them being moved, ie Weber? During the offseason?

Not at all, but for tonight only they think, "The [weaker] enemy of my [more dreaded projected] enemy is my friend."

I'd hate for the Habs to disappoint our [very temporary] well-wishers because their disappointment would be ours too.

I doubt it,maybe Fisher if he is signed.Moving Weber IMO would be a mistake, get rid of the dead wood instead like Hamrlik and Spacek and let the kids play

I'm beginning to think that the team has given up on Weber and that he will be dealt in a some sort of package in the off-season. There were many rumblings of him being dealt at the deadline as well. He's got great offensive potential, but he's physically outmatched and he sometimes looks completely lost in his own end.

I wouldn't be against moving him if the return is good, but I'd rather the Habs hold on to him. He could be a great offensive d-man in the future, another Mark Streit of sorts. But he could be an interesting trading chip if the Habs are looking to acquire some muscle in the top 6.
