Pens fan here saying congrats and here's to a great up tempo series.
For all the Habs fans wondering why it will start on Friday so soon is because the Mellon has a event/graduation scheduled for Saturday already so it won't be available and I'm assuming they didn't want to wait til Sunday to start this series.
I'm actually cheering for Montreal in this series, because it's my dream for Boston-Montreal conference finals (if we can beat the Flyers).
But I think Pens in 5 sadly. Too much firepower, well rested, well coached. When we were fighting for position at the end of the season, I told everyone on our board that I thought the Caps could be beaten. I don't think that about the Pens. But I do wish you all the luck!
this may mean nothing at all... but of all the UFA's bob let go last year, are ANY of them still in the playoffs? I dont know why but i feel like that statistic mean something.

If the Habs can keep the special teams playing well in the second round like they did against the Caps in the first round, and if our speedy forwards exploit the Pens D...I think we have a great chance at another series win...a series we aren't suppose to win, again.
Yes the officials are something to watch for. A Penguin could literally grab one of your own players stick, whack his own teammate in the face with it, and you'd still get a 4 minute penalty for it.
You got beat by a better team. Acceptance is a major step towards recovery. Have a nice summer
Anyways, back to more important matters...
Congrats to Habs fans out there. You guys played a hell of a series! I hate the caps more than any other team in the league, and to see the 8th seed knock out Ovie and Fats Boudreau was truly a joy to say the least. Here's hoping for a great series
