I think Bryan Little is too vital a piece to be moved for really anything on Toronto's roster, short of Kessel. The only way I'd move Little is if he were part of a package (with NJ's first, maybe) to Calgary for Iginla. If Iginla is indeed available, I want Sutter's phone to be on fire with calls from 404.

This.
Toronto has nothing we need here.
Little is one of 6 guys who didnt take a shift off last year.
Iginla is an all timer but I don't make that trade either. At 33 he's too expensive and coming to the tail end of his ride. Sending a 23 year old with 30 goal talent PLUS a first rounder (!!) to Calgary for him is not a smart way to rebuild a franchise

I wouldn't go for that trade. I'd maybe offer a 2nd but that's it.
Don't get me wrong. Iginla is worth a 1st and a player. He's still a 30 goal scorer. Physical. Leader. A bonafide hall of famer. He's just wrong for the Thrashers. We're not one player away from anything significant. Dropping a young asset and a needed top pick is not worth having Jerome Elvis Iginla in Atlanta for a couple years.
I wouldn't even think about trading for Iginla. His time is over. I'd give a 3rd for him at the most.
Little and our picks in the 1st are WAYYYY more valuable to us than a 33 year old decliner.
We are re-building people. It's not like we are built and we just need that 1 more piece.
Calgary franchise is in a hole. Lets not help them dig thereselves out by giving them a future core for an old man. and at the same time ruining our future core.
What an awful proposal. Stafford, in 4 seasons, hit 20 goals ONCE and it was 20 even. He's awful and wouldn't even make our 4thline. We could prob get him for a 6th rounder.
"I wouldn't even think about trading for Iginla. His time is over. I'd give a 3rd for him at the most." Jerome Iginla, is worth a first, as well as probably a second, as well as a prospect. And probably a ready now player. He has more Worth the Ilya Kovalchuk does. Please understand this

We are re-building people. It's not like we are built and we just need that 1 more piece. - We are missing a legitimate goaltender. And we are in the playoffs. How many 1 goal games did we lose this year, that could of been easily stopped by having a legitimate number 1? So no, we arent rebuilding. We are right on the cusp of playoffs. Missing a piece. Ig may not be that piece, But he sure as well would help.

How many final's appearances have we had in our history?
