That's ok, we still got MAB and his 3 minutes of ice time to fill in.

Seriously...what the hell. You know what, I think somebody mentionned that the habs were trying to cover up an injury of some sort on the Team 990.

it was supposed to be a respiratory virus. I don't think they'd say that if it were a bodily injury. I can see why it's taking so long to recover, but with most of our luck re:injuries, this sucksssss.

If it's not the refs, if it's not the team playing like crap (they've been awesome in the playoffs IMO), it's something like injuries! always a reason things are not lined up for us. Everybody wants to blow up the team and all that when really it is a boatload of horrible luck.

AK and Pouliot - Do something!!! It's Fleury. seriously!

What the hell kind of virus did he catch?!
I'm starting to agree with others who think they're trying to cover up another injury.

I heard on Team 990, someone (Pat Hickey?) suggest it was a pneumonia. What's the prognosis?

I thought pneumonia was usually really hard to get if you had good health and were young. I know it's really dangerous for old people. Then again, it IS spacek...

no wait. Whoa whoa whoa. Just realized something.

How does a guy go from being a game time decision 3 ****ing games in a row, and now he's a definite no go when he should be getting better?

Prognosis Negative.

I just felt like typing that (Seinfeld). Although pneumonia is serious. I can't fathom someone jumping back into round two of the Stanley Cup playoffs after just a week on antibiotics. It will have taken a toll on his lungs. I hope it's a mild case.

Not true, you can call up players for injury emergencies.

I had pneumonia a couple of years ago. I was deathly sick for 3 weeks+. It's going to take him a long time to get all his energy/lung capacity back. Not to mention it takes a little bit for the antibiotics to kick in. And even after they do, it takes a while for your lungs to clear and to stop coughing.
If that is what he has, give him all the time he needs, it's the most miserable thing I've ever been through

I had penumonia when I was younger...if that is what he has then I can understand why he's still not playing. I was done for a week.

I caught pneumonia a few years ago. I felt like I had a flu or a cold but also felt a little dizzy. It's like the bug gets into your lungs and it's a bit harder to breathe. You get slowed down for a while and feel like and slow like a junkie or something but I don't recall it being all that dire. I don't think I missed any work, but then again most of my work is done on the phone from my home.

Almost makes you wish Paul Mara was still around...

Doesn't look like there are any upgrades on the farm either.
