agreed, DL needs to go after guys like Willie Mitchell, Sergei Gonchar or even Dan Hamhuis

I really like the idea of Gonchar, he can QB the PP, giving us 3 legit PP QBs. Hamhuis can be a QB too but Gonchar has a ring, proven veteran and still puts up points

I don't see DL picking up an offensive defenseman, especially considering the guys that are most ready in the system and especially a guy that is the wrong side of 30. The Kings were generally out muscled in front of their net by the Canucks, they don't want or need a guy like Gonchar.

Gonchar is looking for 5-6 million a year. No way. I don't even think we land Hamhuis.

It will be a mid range guy looking for a short term deal.
