Kea was kicked out in the first game for fighting, so he didnt play either games . I dont believe it will effect his stock any, most teams have already seen what they want . Does anyone know who will be playing who in the next round of the ETA's?

Current series have Peterborough playing South Central (Pete's up 1 game to 0) and Ajax/Pickering playing Barrie (Ajax up 1 game to 0). Kingston beat Central so I'm not sure who they play next.
Thanks for that, and he fought hulton (#9) . Kea ripped the cage right off hulton's helmet then the refs stepped in before any punches could be thrown. Also just heard word of Mossman and Desousa's play in these ETA playdowns. I believe Mossman has had 2 or 3, 4 point game with around 11 or 12 points in the last 4 games and Desousa has put up around the same.
I've heard about it to thats very impresive. I think Kingston will go as far as they can carry them and if thats how there going to play then Kingston could upset more than just Central.
I personally like Mossman, he is a great skater and has a good set of hands. Although is not huge is plays phyiscal and always competes. I think he deserves to up there with Hooey and Brooks. Some where from the 3rd to 5th round.
Desousa is a tough player to gauge because he hasn't had a very strong year till the last month. During this strech he has played like a player that could go around the 5th round but because he hasn't done it all year i think he'll fall to the 8th or 9th round. He is a big strong winger that drives hard to the net. He posses a hard accurate shot. He, Mossman and there other linemate Johnston work well together. They cycle the puck very well and are very tough to control down low.
I agree fully with you on mossman and desousa, also their last linemate, i think his big body will get him a little notice . and yes, the draft is may 1st.

Kea went out with a pout, it won't hurt him in the draft. See him go late 1st , early second.
Mosmann is a way back from that. Being the best on a struggling team doesn't buy you much. A 1st rounder can often carry a team, and considering Kingston wasn't all that bad, Mossman would have had to lead them to more to be considered.
He may be 8-10th round, doubtful if another player is drafted. The KCs may grab a few local boys in late rounds to promot the local minor players.
Kingston was not a very good team at all this year, finishing in the bottem 3 of the whole ETA. Pheonoms carry teams, you dont see teams like markham or central working wonders due to the play of gaunce and kea. There both avg teams with several other early to mid rounders to help out. Players like mossman who can do things on weaker teams will be noticed and considered as to what they could possibly do with a strong team behind them. Also by KC's do you mean the Kingston Canadians? Because theyve been the Frontenacs for many years now.

Mossman will be a mid round selection. He is a good player, but not at the second level of players like Hooey or others. He will be in that third tier of players.
Hey guys, just wanted to ask if anyone can speculate who the sarnia sting might take in this years priority draft. they are the worst team in the OHL so should they be picking first or is there a lottery system like in the NHL? Wondering if theres gunna be any stamkos type players to come in and make an impact right away, and bring the sting back to respectablity. Thanks

Matia Marcantuoni is probably the best bet for the #1 overall pick...As for a Stamkos like impact probably not right away but he looks to be a very, very good player.
C Alex Galchenyuk - Milwaukee, WI. Chicago Young Americans
D Nick Ebert - Livingston, N.J. Waterloo Black Hawks (USHL)
D Max Iafrate - Baltimore, Md. Belle Tire (Mich.) Midget Minor
G Dalton Izyk - Syracuse, N.Y. Syracuse Stars Midget Minor
F Cody Payne - Weston, Fla. Missassauga (Ont.) Reps Minor
hey there, i've been around watching the oemhl (ottawa districts) quite a bit this year. Kind of interesting to see. Obviously there is strong talent in this league and some like Jenkins and Gudbranson will go high. I was just wondering what you're thoughts were on kids like Brandon Watt and Mack Weegar from the Ottawa Senators, their squad struggled quite a bit this year, but they seemed to have great seasons themselves. Any chance of being drafted?

Watt will go later 10-15, Weegar in my opinion shouldnt be drafted, if so late. I thought he was not even the second best player on a bad team.
A shocking draft. There were many players selected from the Ottawa region which were questionable. There were some who were not selected who were questionable. Watt, Dechamps and Meilleur are three examples of players who were not selected, which blows me away.

Meilleur should have been a top 100 player, I dont see why he did not go. Deschamps is smaller, so maybe, same with Watt.

On the flip side of these guys, I was really happy to see the 67s call for Dalen Hedges in the 6th round... they obviously know him very well and were willing to roll the dice that he has some more growing to do. Tremendous season this year.
