Dave Hodge and "The Reporters" are saying Montreal's luck has run out? They're basing this one what, one game? Well man, I guess after Game 4 of the series with Washington, the Habs were hopeless and the Habs had no chance?

Thank God a series is not based on one game, like the Superbowl.

There's a reason Dave Hodge and the reporters are on early Sunday morning...

Heading to the ESPN Zone in New York City to watch with my girlfriend. Hoping for the best...last time I ate there we won Game 1 of the Crapitals series.

A little nervous, but I think we can do it. GO HABS GO!!!

Obviously Markov. Staal is definitely a good player, but he's not close to being the best on his own team. This team's record without Markov speaks for itself.

2PM, boo hoo! It's 11AM for me and I'm only up now because I sleep next to the prettiest snorer you will ever meet.

I don't have a feeling about today's game in any way because I'm curious and unsure of how the Habs will respond. Round 2 and we're still watching this team materialize, what a season.

Why all the hate for Sunday afternoon NBC start .... what else is there to do, brunch with in-laws, house cleaning, a walk with your loved one in old montreal, or even better... museum day???

PK Subban loves NBC !

Doesn't it seem like a perfect fit ?

No Staal doesn't hurt the pens as much cuz they have alot of depth in the 3rd line position. No Markov hurts us cuz we have no depth in offensive Dmen (except for Subban). Right now we have 1 puck moving D...

I think markov wasn't playing his best hockey, maybe subban can log a lot of minutes and when spacek gets back spread those minutes all around the D, the thing that worries me is having MAB in the D for another full game, and I think the lost of Staal is really going to affect the pens PK and defensive line. best 3rd line center an pk in the league for me.

Damn I wont be watching todays game i'll be driving from toronto to montreal.

I dont care if we win it or lose it

One thing for sure is I know we can take out the pens, they are like washington but with powerplay madness. It wont happen again today last game was game 1

I say this series will be a 7 game one, and I BELIEVE

GO HABS GO

PS AK WAKE THE **** UP

Considering we came off a long hard fought series and weren't out played tells me we can win.

Pittsburgh won the game on two costly errors, too many PP chances in which they scored 4 goals and another last minute collapse at the end of the 2nd which drained our momentum once again.

All the Habs need to do is to stay out of the penalty box, this eliminates the PP opportunities, and to play a hard 20 minutes per period.

Habs D are going to have to be strong in front too, they need OB, Gill, Gorges and Hammer to clear the front for Halak.

Play a simple game, keep it clean and tight and we have a chance to split.

At this point, I'd rather see Darche than freaking Pouliot. Prove me wrong Benny.

No way haha...Darche brings nothing to the table. At least with Benny we know he'll TRY out there even if he's not scoring.

Yeah, his weak-ass clearing attempts, constant turnovers and one-handed passes along the boards really shows how much he's trying. If there's anything Darche truly does well, is that he actually tries. Now if Pouliot were to try, he'd be the beast that he was during his time with Gomez and Gionta. Have I said "try" enough times lol?

Jordan Staal is a very important defensive asset as well as offensive...even if he plays in the third line, Staal is one of their best offensive players.

Tim Peel one of the reffs tonight that must be the 3rd or 4th time in this playoffs already if we win this one the nhl might have to pull all stops and go with a Tim Peel Chris Lee duo for game 3

Montreal is starting Jaro Halak today, it's official. Apparently, the Pens are 22-5 at home in Game 2 of the playoffs so let's hope for a miracle!

It's an afternoon game...both teams may be a bit sluggish.
